Fantasy College Football: Saturday - Week 1

Saturday was all about the Big XII's stable of running backs. In Norman, Sooner fans had to sweat out a 31-24 victory over Utah State. But it appears Oklahoma's running back by committee has gone by the wayside, at least for now. DeMarco Murray (35rush, 218yds, 2td) was an absolute workhorse, setting a career high in carries and breaking 200 yards rushing for the first time in his career. Kansas State avenged last year's loss to the Bruins, with a 31-22 victory in Manhattan. The league's #1 overall pick, Daniel Thomas (28rush, 235yds, 2td, 2rec, 15yds) picked up right where he left off last year, as the Big XII's leading rusher. But for now, Oklahoma State's Kendall Hunter (21rush, 257yds, 4td) has Week 1's player of the week all but wrapped up. The new-look Cowboy offense went all PS3 on Saturday night, hanging 56 points on Washington State. The Pokes have now won 15 straight home openers, a school record.
