Here are the storylines from Week 7:

Division: Hitched! went 4-0 this week, and Crimson & Bluebloods is the league's lone undefeated squad. Chalmers Chiefers currently ranks 5th in overall scoring with 962.85 fantasy points, but has only managed to go 2-5 thus far. There is quite a logjam after the top three teams, as only one game separates 4th place Boilers (4-3) from 9th place The Iron Men (3-4).

Free agency: Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd dropped Maalik Wayns, G, Villanova and added Jio Fontan, G, Southern Cal; Sutton & Sons dropped Brian Oliver, F, Georgia Tech and added Khris Middleton, F, Texas A&M

Injury/Roster Report: Kansas State's Jacob Pullen and Curtis Kelly were both held out of their game against UNLV after receiving improper benefits from a local department store. Pullen's suspension is three games, while Kelly's suspension is six games. UCLA's Tyler Honeycutt sprained his right shoulder against Montana State, but Ben Howland expects him back in the lineup for next week's games. Northwestern's John Shurna has not been practicing since his ankle injury against Mount St. Mary's, and is questionable for their Big Ten opener against Purdue next week.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 7

Considering the incident with The Hammer's jeep last week in Hill City, this sums up Week 7's Game of the Week perfectly. It was the highest scoring head-to-head matchup of the season, a combined 352+ fantasy points. But in the end, The Hammer delivered on his promise and now finds himself among the league's elite. Gordon Bombay only got mediocre production out of Malcolm Delaney (19pts, 3reb, 5ast, 1st) and Jon Leuer (19pts, 5reb, 1ast). Combined, they failed to outscore Southern Cal's Nikola Vucevic (16pts, 10reb, 4ast, 6blk, 1stl), The Hammer's anchor leg in Week 7's race.

Chalmers Chiefers held a somewhat comfortable lead over Saint D heading into the final games of Week 7. Each team owned a Georgetown guard. But in this battle of Hoya teammates, Austin Freeman (24pts, 5reb, 4ast, 1stl) helped Saint D pull off a Christmas miracle comeback over Chalmers Chiefers' Chris Wright (19pts, 2reb, 2ast, 1stl)... The final score would make any owner sick to their stomachs.

Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd's new-look backcourt blew up on Thursday. In his first start after being picked up, Jio Fontan (21pts, 2reb, 4ast, 4stl) sunk four 3-pointers, dropped four dimes and made four steals against Lehigh. But the top scorer for Week 7 was Michigan's Darius Morris (26pts, 6reb, 12ast, 1stl), who poured in a career-high 26 points and matched a career-high 12 assists thanks to Michigan's 16 made 3-pointers against Bryant. Simply put, Sutton & Sons ran into a buzzsaw this week...

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 7

Strap on your boxing gloves, because Wednesday's games were a battle... literally. In the Game of the Week, Isaiah Thomas (24pts, 8reb, 4ast) posted season-highs in points (24) and rebounds (8) in Washington's 90-60 win over Nevada. Another player for Gordon Bombay, Jordan Williams (14pts, 12reb, 1blk) has double-doubled in six straight games and 10 of 12 overall this season. Heading into tomorrow's games, less than two points separate The Hammer and Gordon Bombay. Each team has two players remaining, so we'll find out tomorrow if The Hammer can deliver on his guaranteed win.

The league's top-ranked guard, Reggie Jackson (22pts, 4reb, 6ast), posted Wednesday's high score. He is currently leading Boston College in scoring (19.2), assists (5.0), steals (1.3) and blocks (0.8), also sporting an impressive 3:1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Sutton & Sons has to be pleased with the production of his guards, and there's no doubt that Jackson is his best.

Although they will stroll to a Week 7 win by default, a pair of orange-clad Crimson & Bluebloods combined to score 70+ on Wednesday night. Jordan Hamilton (21pts, 7reb, 3ast, 1blk, 3stl) led Texas into the Breslin Center against and silenced the Izzone for much of the night. The 67-55 final score doesn't tell the story, as Michigan State was never within striking distance and looked uninspired for much of the night. The other half of Crimson & Bluebloods' production came from Kris Joseph (25pts, 7reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl), who poured in a career-high 25 points against Drexel while helping Syracuse improve to 13-0 on the year.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 7

If last night was any indication, the Game of the Week is going to be a battle to the very end. Three of the top four scorers from last night were members of either The Hammer or Gordon Bombay. After providing some bulletin board material for Gordon Bombay, The Hammer needed to prove he could walk the walk. Ohio State's star freshman Jared Sullinger (9pts, 16reb, 5ast, 2stl) came within one point of recording that elusive double-double. But this game belonged to his Buckeye teammate David Lighty (29pts, 1reb, 1ast), who knocked down seven 3-pointers in a 96-49 rout of UNC-Asheville.

JaJuan Johnson (24pts, 13reb, 1ast, 1blk, 1stl) double-doubled for the first time since Week 3 for Gordon Bombay. And the league's top scorer looked dominant against IPFW, finishing above the rim on multiple occassions.

But on this night, The Hammer was on a mission. Providence's Marshon Brooks (25pts, 12reb, 5ast, 1blk, 4stl) tried to land an early knockout blow, and is quickly becoming the league's sensation. After acquiring Brooks in Week 3, he has averaged 41.46 fantasy points in four starts. He'll be the catalyst if The Hammer hopes to spring the upset on Gordon Bombay this week.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 7

It sounds funny saying this, but we're halfway through the regular season after this week. Time certainly flies when you're a college hoops junkie like me. Well after submitting his lineup, the owner of Jill Cousins (4-2) briefly met with the commissioner to discuss his highly anticipated matchup with Gordon Bombay (6-0), this week's Game of the Week. Here are some of the highlights:

• On his team name: "While I never like to miss an opportunity to take a jab at Joel, it doesn't seem right to honor him when he failed to even join the league this year. Therefore, this franchise will officially change their name to 'The Hammer' effective immediately."
• On his team's mindset: "I'll be honest, after back-to-back losses to Crimson & Bluebloods and Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd, team morale was at its lowest point of the season. But we righted the ship last week and now our confidence is through the roof."
•  On his matchup with Gordon Bombay: "My boys are ready for the spotlight of a primetime matchup. Let it be known that we're going to deliver a Fulton Reed-style slapshot through Bombay's heart this week."

Stay tuned for Tuesday's games, which will feature the first round of players from Week 7's Game of the Week matchup: The Hammer (4-2) vs. Gordon Bombay (6-0).

As for Monday night, Kyle Singler (24pts, 7reb, 5ast, 2stl) finally looked like the league's #1 overall pick. He posted 30+ fantasy points for the first time this season for Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd. Northwestern's John Shurna (26pts, 6reb, 2ast, 1blk, 4stl), Monday's high scorer, has now put together consecutive 35+ fantasy point performances for Chalmers Chiefers. His opponent for this week is Saint D, whose best player narrowly missed a double-double from Rick Jackson (18pts, 9reb, 4ast, 2blk, 1stl).

The league's only two 6-0 teams, Crimson & Bluebloods and Gordon Bombay, were the top two scorers in Week 6.

Boilers (3-3) won the Game of the Week against Chalmers Chiefers (2-4). While he questioned the makeup of his current squad, every free agent acquisition has the look of a key contributor.

Free agency: The only move this week was Gordon Bombay dropping G Dorenzo Hudson, Virginia Tech and adding C Festus Ezeli, Vanderbilt

Injury/Roster Report: Virginia's Mike Scott underwent arthroscopic ankle surgery on Friday and will miss an undisclosed amount of time. Augustus Gilchrist appears to be done at South Florida, due to philosophical differences with head coach Stan Heath.

Fantasy College Hoops: Friday - Week 6

Friday's games highlighted Colorado's dynamic backcourt duo. Cory Higgins (18pts, 1reb, 5ast) and Alec Burks (19pts, 3reb, 1ast, 1stl) have been the top two leading scorers in 6 of Colorado's first 9 games this season. They combined to shoot 14-of-21, including 6-for-9 on three-pointers, in their 89-61 win over The Citadel.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 6

Thursday's lone player, Missouri's Laurence Bowers (17pts, 6reb, 5blk) gave Neenan's Warriors some added scoring power in his second straight start. Bowers was the focal point of the Tiger offense, with a season-high 13 shot attempts. He also swatted a career-high five shots in their 81-62 win over Oral Roberts.

Fantasy College Hoops: Update - Week 6

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone know that scoring for the remainder of Week 6 will be put on hold until I return from a weekend of pheasant hunting. Several league owners (God's on my side, WGP, Jill Cousins, The Iron Men, Boilers and Crimson & Bluebloods) will make a five-hour road trip west to Hill City, Kansas. I thought some of the other owners should get a heads up. Wish us luck!

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 6

A free agent just days ago, Trevor Mbakwe (13pts, 13reb, 2blk, 2stl) double-doubled in his debut for Boilers. His teammate Blake Hoffarber (13pts, 4reb, 7ast, 1blk, 3stl) continues to fill the void left by Kyrie Irving in Crimson & Bluebloods' starting lineup. The #20 Gophers improved to 10-1 after outlasting Akron 66-58.

Scotty Hopson got The Iron Men off to a slow start, but LaceDarius Dunn (24pts, 4reb, 2ast, 2stl) helped them regain the lead over Saint D. Dunn has scored 20+ points in all four of his games played so far.

Wednesday's high scorer came quite as a surprise. Jill Cousins had a difficult time benching an inconsistent Marcus Morris. But 43+ fantasy points later, JaMychal Green (16pts, 15reb, 3ast, 2blk, 1stl) was clearly the right move.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 6

It's finals week around the country, so the majority of the action will take place over the weekend. There's update for the Game of the Week, but there were three players with games on Tuesday. Unfortunately, each of them played like they had been up all night studying.

Just days after Tennessee vaulted into the top ten after defeating Pittsburgh, the Vols were humbled in Knoxville by an upset-minded Oakland squad. With a schedule that's already included games against West Virginia, Purdue, Illinois and Michigan State, the Golden Grizzlies were dying to play giant killer all season. The Iron Men's Scotty Hopson (7pts, 3reb, 2ast) only made one of his season-low seven shot attempts, and failed to hit a three-pointer for just the second time this season.

Texas had a midweek appetizer, North Florida, before their matchup with the Tar Heels this weekend. Freshman Tristan Thompson (9pts, 8reb, 1ast, 2blk, 2stl) almost recorded a double-double for God's on my side. While the Ontario native is shooting 50% from the field so far, Thompson only went 3-for-11 on Tuesday night.

In Michigan's 20-point blowout of NC Central, Darius Morris (12pts, 1reb, 3ast, 1stl) was held to a season-low three assists. And considering his opponent this week, Gordon Bombay (5-0), Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd can't afford any more underachieving.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 6

The Game of the Week got off to a fast start for Week 6. Ravern Johnson (23pts, 4reb, 2ast, 1blk), half of Boilers' Bulldog duo, led Mississippi State to a 67-58 win over Nicholls State. He buried five 3-pointers, and has made at least three 3-pointers in every game thus far. And he's not just chucking them up there, either. Johnson has connected on 34 of 72 (46%) from behind the arc overall.

But Chalmers Chiefers had the last laugh on day one. After not having a game scheduled in Week 5, Northwestern's John Shurna (26pts, 7reb, 7ast, 1blk) was making up for lost time against Long Island. He only missed one of his 11 shot attempts, pulled down seven boards and dished out a career-high seven assists. I'm anticipating this will be one of the more vocal Game of the Week matchups we'll see this season. And after tonight's performances, the table has been set for another great week of fantasy college hoops.

Here are the storylines from Week 5:

Gordon Bombay (5-0) and Crimson & Bluebloods (5-0) both managed to avoid upsets in Week 5. Chalmers Chiefers (2-3) enjoyed the limelight of the Game of the Week, posting the league's top score with 169+ points. Terrence Jones (60.60) led the way, and his monster double-double was the highest scoring performance of the season. All four teams from Division: Outsourced are ranked in the top half of the league.

Free agency: There were five moves in free agency this week.

1. Crimson & Bluebloods dropped D.J. Kennedy, G/F, St. John's and picked up Vincent Council, G, Providence
2. Boilers dropped Erving Walker, G, Florida and picked up Trevor Mbakwe, F, Minnesota

Injury/Roster Report: Duke's freshman point guard Kyrie Irving (toe) is out indefinitely which may keep him out for an extended period of time, perhaps the entire season.

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday - Week 5

Heading into Sunday's games, less than 3 points separated Booo Joel (3-1) and Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd (1-3),  with each team having one player left. Ohio State's Jared Sullinger (17pts, 5reb, 1ast) scored 17 points on 8 shot attempts against Western Carolina. West Virginia's Kevin Jones (15pts, 9reb) nearly matched Sullinger, protecting Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd's slim lead.

Boilers got some frontcourt fireworks from Virginia Tech's Jeff Allen (11pts, 13reb, 6ast, 1stl) in their 79-69 win over Penn State. But in the end, it just wasn't enough against Neenan's Warriors, who improved to 2-3 on the year.

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 5

Three outcomes were revealed after Saturday's games, including the Game of the Week. The Iron Men can't put too much emphasis on playing without LaceDarius Dunn, because Scotty Hopson (27pts, 3reb, 1ast, 1stl) did a phenomenal job filling in for the first round pick. Hopson hit 10 of his 13 shot attempts, and was a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc in #13 Tennessee's upset-win over #3 Pittsburgh. Brad Wanamaker (21pts, 5reb, 9ast, 1blk, 5stl) was a stat-sheet stuffer for Sutton & Sons in Pitt's losing cause. A surprisingly balanced game from Chris Warren (18pts, 5reb, 7ast, 1blk) helped seal the deal for Chalmers Chiefers in the Game of the Week, now winners of two straight after a nightmarish 0-3 start to the season.

Crimson & Bluebloods managed to stay unbeaten despite a valiant effort from God's on my side. Jordan Hamilton (16pts, 10reb, 5ast, 2stl) and the #25 Longhorns abused Texas State, resulting in a 101-65 final score. Hamilton's double-double held off a late charge from Notre Dame's Tim Abromaitis (21pts, 8reb, 4ast), who played bombs away against Gonzaga. These two teams combined to go 22-40 (55%) from downtown, including four from Abromaitis.

And Saint D is slowly becoming a one-man show. Rick Jackson (18pts, 10reb, 2ast, 4blk, 2stl) and Syracuse held a 46-8 halftime lead, before brushing aside Colgate 100-43. This was "Action" Jackson's fourth consecutive week with a double-double. Unfortunately, none of his Saint D teammates were able to score more than 16 fantasy points.

Fantasy College Hoops: Friday - Week 5

The only player from Friday's games was WGP's Klay Thompson (15pts, 4ast, 1blk), in Washington State's 74-52 blowout of Texas-Pan American. Thompson made the most of his 23 minutes against the Broncos, scoring 15 points. But he picked up four personal fouls in the process and failed to record a single rebound. WGP is going to need some big time performances over the weekend, if he wants any shot at handing Gordon Bombay (4-0) his first loss of the year.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 5

Thursday's games only featured five players. But it was a relatively quiet night overall, with no one scoring more than 15 fantasy points. The high scorer was Georgetown's Chris Wright (10pts, 3reb, 5ast, 1stl), a member of this week's Game of the Week. The #10 Hoyas suffered their first loss on the season, a 68-65 ambush by the Temple Owls.

And on a night where Jared Sullinger went off for 40 and 13 against IUPUI, his fellow Buckeyes were rather unimpressive. Saint D's David Lighty (6pts, 3reb, 2ast, 3stl) and Crimson & Bluebloods' William Buford (14pts, 7reb, 2ast) watched Sullinger go to work all night. Sadly, Jill Cousins missed out on Sullinger's monster game... but those are the breaks!

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 5

Chalmers Chiefers was noticeably frustrated when setting his lineup this week. His highest scorer so far, Northwestern's John Shurna, did not have a game scheduled for Week 5. Coupled with the fact that Chalmers Chiefers was making his Game of the Week debut against The Iron Men, and things were looking pretty bleak. Enter: Terrence Jones... It's safe to say Kentucky's freshman has found a new home on Chalmers Chiefers' roster. Coming off the worst outing of his young career, Terrence Jones (27pts, 17reb, 3ast, 2blk, 1stl) was out for blood against Notre Dame.

A couple of Williamses from the last two undefeated teams had some big-time performances last night. Maryland's Jordan Williams (23pts, 13reb, 1ast) has been on an absolute tear for Gordon Bombay. He posted his fourth straight double-double, despite logging a season-low 26 minutes in the Terps' 99-56 slaughter of UNC-Greensboro. And in the late game, Derrick Williams (22pts, 10reb, 3ast, 2blk) put up his second straight double-double for Crimson & Bluebloods. He dished out three assists, as Arizona outlasted Cal State Fullerton 73-62. But the most encouraging stat was his lack of fouls (1), allowing him to log 30+ minutes for the first time this season.

Fantasy Collge Hoops: Tuesday - Week 5

Tuesday night's games featured three players from Week 5's Game of the Week, all from The Iron Men. Talor Battle (13pts, 8reb, 4ast, 1stl) is typically the straw that stirs the drink for Penn State's offensive attack. But in their narrow 57-53 win over Mount St. Mary's, Battle only managed to hit a season-low three shots on 14 attempts. He did snatch eight rebounds, which helped balance out an otherwise nightmarish outing. There was good news and bad news for Virginia's Mike Scott (10pts, 13reb, 1ast, 2blk). The good news? A week after getting benched in Week 4, Scott responded with a double-double, his fifth-straight for the Cavaliers. The bad news? He only made one basket, going 1-for-7 from the field.

Bill Self and #4 Kansas (-11.5) traveled to the Big Apple to take on the #13 Memphis Tigers in Madison Square Garden, as part of the Jimmy V Classic. The Jayhawks improved to 8-0 on the year, logging their third win over the Tigers in as many seasons.

But Tuesday's high scorer belonged to Neenan's Warriors... Apparently Jimmy Butler (15pts, 9reb, 3ast, 2stl) didn't like getting called out in the first round of power rankings. He was an efficient 5-for-7 against Texas A&M-CC and narrowly missed what would have been his first double-double of the season.

There wasn't any action from the Game of the Week, but all four players from Monday's games performed well. WGP's Jacob Pullen (24pts, 5reb, 2ast) hit three 3-pointers in Kansas State's 89-55 rout of Alcorn State. The only blemish on an otherwise marvelous outing was Pullen's six turnovers. Gordon Bombay counter-punched with his own purple-clad point guard. Washington's Isaiah Thomas (20pts, 7reb, 4ast) scored 20 points for the first time this season, and ripped down a season-high seven rebounds against Portland.

What can Brown do for you? Apparently they'll let you drop 30+ on them. At least, that's what they did for Providence's Marshon Brooks (33pts, 8reb, 4stl), Monday's top scorer. But Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd's newest acquisition, Michigan's Darius Morris (19pts, 2reb, 12ast, 2stl) recorded his second double-double this season, which nearly matched Brooks' big night for Jill Cousins.

Fantasy College Hoops: Power Rankings #1

Alright, so I was about a week late with these. But it's time for the first round of Ace's Fantasy College Hoops Power Rankings. Get your game face ready for this ego-bruising, pride-crushing analysis. With Thanksgiving still in the rear-view mirror, here are the five Turkey Day-themed categories:

• Feast... This is the "meat and potatoes" player of each team's scoring.
•  Famine... A potential bust from the early rounds, who will always leave his owner wanting more.
•  Sleeper... and I'm not talking about tryptophan. This player from the late rounds (or free agency) will likely become a fixture in the starting lineup.
•  Draft grade... This letter grade assigned to each owner evaluates their draft strategy and execution.

The weekly matchups keep getting closer and closer. Saint D (1-3) couldn't muster a win, despite posting 163+ fantasy points against Gordon Bombay (4-0). Whereas Boilers (2-2) scored slightly more than 90, and came away with the win against God's on my side (2-2).

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday - Week 4

Trent Lockett (12pts, 10reb, 4ast, 1stl) recorded his first career double-double in Arizona State's 61-67 loss to Richmond. But that still wasn't enough, as Jill Cousins fell in the Game of the Week and suffered his first loss of the season.

Gordon Bombay capped an amazing comeback over Saint D on the final day of Week 4. The newest member of Gordon Bombay, Virginia Tech's Malcolm Delaney (26pts, 3reb, 1ast, 1stl) couldn't deliver a win against ACC foe Virginia. But his fourth 3-pointer delivered Gordon Bombay a win, one of only two teams with undefeated records.

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 4

Crimson & Bluebloods made sure to finish their Game of the Week debut with a bang. The result: a double-double from North Carolina's John Henson (13pts, 12reb, 2ast, 3blk, 1stl) that helped Crimson & Bluebloods nearly break the 200-point mark. The Tar Heel front court completely out-manned the Wildcats, resulting in a double-double for Tyler Zeller (27pts, 11reb, 5blk) with a career-high 27 points. Zeller's clutch performance, Saturday's high score, put Sutton & Sons within striking distance of WGP. But this one came down to the head-to-head coaching matchup. In the end WGP's Roy Williams and his beloved Tar Heels (+1) sent Sutton & Sons's John Calipari and his 11th ranked Wildcats back to Lexington with their second loss of the season.

Michigan State's Draymond Green (10pts, 12reb, 5ast) and Penn State's Talor Battle (31pts, 8reb, 4ast, 1stl) helped The Iron Men even their record at 2-2, after scoring a season-high 178.90 total points against Neenan's Warriors.

Heading into the final day of Week 4, there is only one outcome still in question. But can Gordon Bombay pull it off a stunning comeback victory? A career day from Wisconsin's Jon Leuer (29pts, 9reb, 2ast, 4blk, 2stl), including six 3-pointers more than helped make up some major ground.

Still trailing by 18+ to Saint D, it all comes down to Gordon Bombay's newest acquisition: Malcolm Delaney. He'll lace 'em up tonight in Virginia Tech's early conference matchup with in-state rival Virginia (5:00 PM on FSN), in hopes of keeping Bombay record unblemished through Week 4.

Fantasy College Hoops: Friday - Week 4

He's baaaack! First round pick Trey Thompkins (20pts, 9reb, 2ast, 3blk, 2stl) got his first start of the season in Week 4. And you can just about pencil in Crimson & Bluebloods to a 4-0 record, as the Game of the Week is well in hand. Thompkins led Georgia with 20 points on 10-of-13 shooting, as the Bulldogs (5-2) continue their string of close calls. Thus far, four of their five victories have been by 3 points or less.

WGP (0-3) is doing his best to get off the schneid against Sutton & Sons (2-1). Villanova's Antonio Pena (14pts, 14reb, 2ast, 1blk) became WGP's third 30+ scorer this week, and looks to be in great position to notch his first win. Saturday's matchup between Kentucky vs. North Carolina (11:30 AM on CBS) looms large.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 4

Well it certainly wasn't pretty... but the Big XII remains a perfect 4-0 in the 2010 edition of the Big XII/Pac-10 Hardwood Series after Thursday's games. The Kansas Jayhawks managed to extend their home winning streak to 64 games by the narrowest of margins, a controversial 77-76 win over UCLA. Marcus Morris (16pts, 6reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl) had a quiet 16 points for Jill Cousins, who is slowly running out of bullets in the Game of the Week. Though not his forte, The Iron Men's Tyshawn Taylor (17pts, 1reb, 4ast, 5stl) carried the out-of-sync Jayhawk offense for the majority of the second half.

Another member of The Iron Men, Baylor's LaceDarius Dunn (24pts, 4reb, 2ast, 1stl) buried six 3-pointers against Arizona State. Perry Jones (12pts, 7reb, 4ast) chipped in, and is slowly becoming a solid frontcourt option for Neenan's Warriors.

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 4

Week 4's Game of the Week participants are both holding up their end of the bargain. Jill Cousins solidified a shaky backcourt with the acquisition of Providence's Marshon Brooks (27pts, 8reb, 3ast, 3blk), who's on his way to becoming this year's Jamine Peterson. Crimson & Bluebloods counter-punched with a double-double from Derrick Williams (18pts, 10reb, 1ast, 2stl), before fouling out in his second straight outing. But this night belonged to Week 1's Player of the Week. Kyrie Irving (31pts, 6reb, 4ast, 2blk, 2stl) absolutely stole the show, dropping a career-high 31 points on Michigan State, while helping top-ranked Duke to a 84-79 win over the #6 Spartans.

After a forgettable game from Brad Wanamaker (4pts, 8reb, 1ast, 1stl), Sutton & Sons got a big-time performance from Reggie Jackson (27pts, 5reb, 4ast, 2stl) in Boston College's 88-76 win over Indiana.

Thursday's games are a Big XII showcase. I'm sure those Pac-10 teams are wondering what the little numbers next to their opponents mean. But anyways, here's who to look for tonight:

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 4

Only one player from the Game of the Week: Ohio State's Jared Sullinger (11pts, 13reb, 1blk, 1stl) followed Nikola Vucevic's double-double with one of his own for Jill Cousins. The Buckeyes' fantastic freshman displayed a variety of post moves in a low-scoring battle against Florida State.

Saint D's frontcourt players not named Herb Pope continue to put up some monster performances. This time, it was Rick Jackson (17pts, 13reb, 3ast, 1stl) as Syracuse improved to 7-0 on the season, beating Cornell 78-58.

A red-hot Red Raider posted Tuesday's high score. Mike Singletary (29pts, 13reb, 6ast) carried Texas Tech to a 86-82 win over a pesky Oral Roberts team. Now, The Iron Men are in great position before their three guards (Dunn, Battle, Taylor) hit the hardwood later this week.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 4

Week 4's Game of the Week is a battle of undefeated squads, as Jill Cousins takes on Crimson & Bluebloods. Each team had one player in action last night, so let's begin there. Southern Cal's one-man wrecking crew, Nikola Vucevic (16pts, 10reb) logged his 5th double-double on the year. But failing to record any assists, blocks or steals nullified any chance at a premium bonus. Crimson & Bluebloods picked up Minnesota's Blake Hoffarber (19pts, 5reb, 5ast, 2stl) just before the submission deadline. And despite Minnesota's second-half meltdown to unranked Virginia, Hoffarber's five 3-pointers proved himself worthy of the open spot on the two-time, defending champs roster.

Preseason All-American candidate Jacob Pullen (26pts, 2reb, 5ast, 1blk, 3stl) broke the school-record for career 3-pointers made in Kansas State's win over Division II Emporia State last night. Fellow Wildcat Curtis Kelly (6pts, 1reb, 1stl) remains in Frank Martin's doghouse, after committing 3 fouls and 3 turnovers in only 11 minutes of play. God's on my side is likely pulling his hair out after struggling to find a third consistent performer in the frontcourt.

After three weeks of divisional matchups Gordon Bombay, Crimson & Bluebloods and Jill Cousins are currently undefeated. It's all about matchups, as 11th place Chalmers Chiefers (0-3) has scored more total points than 5th place Sutton & Sons (2-1).

Free Agency: Jill Cousins dropped Rotnei Clarke, G, Arkansas and picked up Trent Lockett, G, Arizona St; Jill Cousins dropped Rihards Kuksiks, G/F, Arizona St and picked up Marshon Brooks, G/F, Providence.

Injury/Roster Report: Stanford's Jeremy Green (stomach virus) was taken to the hospital after his 19-point outing against DePaul. Alabama's JaMychal Green (violation of team rules) was suspended indefinitely for what head coach Anthony Grant called "conduct detrimental to the team." Owners would be wise to keep an eye on these two.

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday - Week 3

Only four players were in action on the final day of Week 3. The first were a couple of Spartans: Kalin Lucas (15pts, 3reb, 2ast) and Draymond Green (10pts, 9reb, 6ast) looked pretty ho-hum in a 'take care of business' game against Tennessee Tech. As expected, The Iron Men fell victim to the raw scoring power of Jill Cousins in the Game of the Week.

Chalmers Chiefers was still holding out hope for a last-second comeback. And despite the efforts of Northwestern's John Shurna (23pts, 6reb, 4ast, 2stl), it just wasn't enough in the end. It's been a rough start to the season for Chalmers Chiefers to say the least, who drops to 0-3 on the year.

After some impressive performances early in the season, Boilers rewarded Chris Singleton (8pts, 5reb, 2ast, 2blk, 2stl) with his first start in Week 3. But when he needed him most, this Seminole fizzled when he should have sizzled. He went 2-for-12 against the Florida Gators, and was held to single-digits for the first time all season. Boilers now finds himself in a three-way tie in Division: Hitched, with a 1-2 record thus far.

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 3

Everything was falling for Kyle Singler (30pts, 5reb, 2ast) in his homecoming to Eugene, Oregon. Playing against his little brother, E.J. Singler, provided Kyle with some extra motivation. He matched a career-high 30 points, including five 3-pointers and #1 Duke rolled to a 98-71 win over the Ducks. But that heroic performance still wasn't enough to give Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd a Week 3 win.

After tying a school-record seven 3-pointers, Austin Freeman (32pts, 3reb, 2ast, 1ast) brought Saint D back from the dead. Now the pressure is on Boilers, who thought midweek he had a win in the bag. We'll see how Florida State's Chris Singleton fares tonight against in-state rival Florida, as this matchup's outcome hangs in the balance.

Fantasy College Hoops: Friday - Week 3

Black Friday put the first matchup of Week 3 in the books. Thad Matta and the Ohio State Buckeyes (-25.5) failed to cover against Miami (OH), but their 66-45 win all but assured God's on my side of a 2-1 record to start the season.

Rick Jackson (10pts, 12reb, 1ast, 2blk) helped Syracuse to a tough 53-50 win over Michigan in Atlantic City. Saint D closed the gap significantly against Boilers, as this one is still too close to call.

Yesterday's high score goes to Jordan Williams (24pts, 13reb, 1ast, 4blk, 1stl) of Maryland. He has double-doubled in 5-of-7 games for the Terps thus far, not bad for Gordon Bombay's 5th round pick.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 3

While most of us were stuffing our faces with turkey and mashed potatoes yesterday, a few hoopsters were putting in some serious work. After a solid outing from Jill Cousins' second free agent pickup Trent Lockett (18pts, 9reb, 6ast, 1blk) the Game of the Week victory is cooked and ready to be served.

Although it will likely be in a losing effort, Georgia's Travis Leslie (23pts, 9reb, 3ast, 5stl) wouldn't let WGP waive the white flag just yet. Leslie and Trey Thompkins didn't get much help, combining for 60% of WGP's total points this week.

Word on the street is that not even Thanksgiving could silence the heavy trash-talking between Chalmers Chiefers and Sutton & Sons. It's been pretty competitive so far, and I'm anticipating this matchup coming down to the final day. Sutton & Sons had to be thankful for giving Marshall Moses (27pts, 9reb, 1ast, 1stl) his first start on the season. While delivering a career-high 27 points, Moses made 11 of 14 shot attempts and went 5-for-5 from the charity stripe - a career 63% free throw shooter.

But Thursday's top scorer was Wisconsin's Jon Leuer (16pts, 14reb, 2ast, 2blk, 1stl) in their ugly 50-35 win over Manhattan. A comeback for Neenan's Warriors looks to be a fairy tale at this point, as Gordon Bombay looks poised to move to 3-0.

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 3

Happy Thanksgiving!

As one of only three players to double-double in each of the first three weeks, Southern Cal's Nikola Vucevic (16pts, 14reb, 5ast, 2blk) appears to have put the finishing touches on the Game of the Week. With only one player left for The Iron Men, Jill Cousins can almost taste a flawless 3-0 start to the season.

Other notable Turkey Day performances included a pair of Villanova backcourt teammates. Corey Fisher (26pts, 3reb, 4ast, 2stl) poured in a career-high 26 points against UCLA in the semifinals of the NIT Season Tip-Off. And sophomore Maalik Wayns (19pts, 6reb, 3ast, 2stl), Scottie Reynolds' heir apparent, is settling into Nova's 3-guard offense quite nicely.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 3

In my experience, a matchup between Jill Cousins and The Iron Men is usually the league's 'Toilet Bowl'. But that can't be farther from the truth so far. These notorious flake owners possess two of the stronger teams in the league and are indeed worthy of Week 3's Game of the Week matchup.

As The Iron Men continue to wait for Josh Selby's December 18th eligibility, Tyshawn Taylor (7pts, 1reb, 9ast, 2stl) continues to be a great distributor (9 assists, 2 turnovers) for Kansas. Their school-record 63rd straight win inside Phog Allen Fieldhouse looked like a Jayhawk AND1 Mixtape. Not to be outdone, newly acquired Marshon Brooks (20pts, 11reb, 2ast, 1blk, 2stl) had a solid debut for Jill Cousins, who appears to have found a diamond in the rough.

The other matchup in Division: Hamilton is officially a shootout. God's on my side continues to pour it on, with another solid outing from Colorado's Alec Burks (22pts, 6reb, 2ast, 1blk, 1stl). But just as WGP's scoring needed a shot in the arm, Klay Thompson (35pts, 6reb, 3ast, 2blk, 1stl) delivered the high score of the night. Thompson was practically unconscious, going 13-for-16 from the field. And his 35 points scored was his highest output since dropping 43 on San Diego last November.

Some notable performances from Division: Hitched included Crimson & Bluebloods' Jordan Hamilton (25pts, 9reb) and a huge double-double from Saint D's Alex Oriahki (15pts, 17reb, 1blk, 1stl) in UConn's 70-67 upset of #2 Michigan State in Maui.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 3

Monday's games featured the debut of The Iron Men's first round pick, Baylor's LaceDarius Dunn (24pts, 5reb, 4ast, 2stl) against Lipscomb. He shot 7-for-11 from downtown, but committed four fouls and turned the ball over six times. Overall, it was a typical "LaceDarius" kind of night. The Iron Men's 2nd round pick, the Nittany Lions' point guard Talor Battle (9pts, 3reb, 3ast) did not fare nearly as well. He was a frigid 4-for-15 and failed to make it to the charity stripe for the first time since January 31, 2010 against Purdue.

Neenan's Warriors continue to ride the hot hand of Kemba Walker (31pts, 2reb, 2ast, 3stl) who scored 29 second-half points in UConn's first round matchup vs. Wichita State in the Maui Invitational.

But the biggest performances came from a God's on my side duo. Tim Abromaitis (26pts, 3reb, 3ast, 1stl) and Quincy Acy (18pts, 14reb, 1blk) both posted 30+ in their games Monday night. WGP knows his squad's overall scoring must improve if he wants any shot at a win this week. We'll see if they can rebound as the week wears on.

Lineup submission was so-so last week. Let's see if we can do a better job across the board. It's only Week 3, so there's no excuse for any 0-2 teams to be throwing in the towel this early in the season. I've noticed some rosters are frontcourt heavy, while others are crowded in the backcourt. If anyone would like to officially place a player on the trading block, just let me know.

Free Agency: God's on my side dropped Ty Abbott, G, Arizona State and picked up Tristan Thompson, F, Texas; Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd dropped Fab Melo, F, Syracuse and picked up Thomas Robinson, F, Kansas.

Injury/Roster Report: Seton Hall's Jeremy Hazell (broken wrist) will miss 4-6 weeks. North Carolina State's Tracy Smith (knee) is out for three weeks. Josh Selby will make his collegiate debut for the Jayhawks on 12/8 vs. Southern Cal, after serving a 9-game suspension for accepting improper benefits.

Whew! The Game of the Week truly lived up to its billing... and Gordon Bombay has to be ecstatic with the result. Needing a 30+ outing for a victory, JaJuan Johnson (25pts, 11reb, 5ast, 2blk, 4stl) put the Gordon Bombay franchise on his back and carried them to a win over Sutton & Sons. I think we all know what comes next for Gordon Bombay's first-round pick... stay tuned.

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 2

There were only four players in Saturday's games, and three of them were from Gordon Bombay's 1-0 squad. Streetball legend Corey Fisher (16pts, 6reb, 4ast, 3stl) was one of six Villanova Wildcats to score in double-figures, in a dominating 45-point rout of Lafayette. But Bombay still needs a solid Sunday line from his first round pick, Purdue's JaJuan Johnson, or Sutton & Sons will win their second straight Game of the Week matchup.

Speaking of Purdue: Boilers should be able to grab a Week 2 win over Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd. Heading into today's games, they trail by only 23 points, and have two players remaining. Let's see if he takes care of business, or makes it interesting...

Saturday's top scorer was Alec Burks (29pts, 5reb, 2ast, 2stl) in Colorado's overtime loss to San Francisco. The Dons are coached by former Jayhawk Rex Walters, who helped Kansas to a Final 4 in '93.

Fantasy College Hoops: Friday - Week 2

Sutton & Sons reached the finish line last night. John Calipari and Kentucky (-9) put a beating on Portland, with a 79-48 win inside Rose Garden. Now it's just a question of whether they can hold onto their lead through a busy weekend for Gordon Bombay.

It appears that last week's close finishes have carried over to Week 2. On all day Friday, it seemed like a foregone conclusion that Jill Cousins would snag a victory over WGP. And he did... by the narrowest of margins. Marcus Morris (20pts, 3reb) and John Roberson (15pts, 2reb, 6ast, 1blk, 3stl) did just enough to give Jill Cousins the win by less than one point.

Neenan's Warriors tried to slam the door early in their matchup with Chalmers Chiefers. Seton Hall's Jeremy Hazell (27pts, 2reb, 2ast, 4stl) put a bow on top of Neenan's Warriors' scorecard. Chalmers Chiefers is now staring an 0-2 record right in the face. But last night wasn't all bad for them, as Mike Krzyzewski and #1 Duke brushed aside Colgate 110-58. The Blue Devils' point guard Kyrie Irving (13pts, 3reb, 9ast, 1blk), last week's Player of the Week, has dished out 20 assists in his first three games inside the friendly confines of Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 2

A handful of players from the Game of the Week saw the floor on Thursday, including all six of Sutton & Sons starters. The outcome is still up in the air, but right now it doesn't look like either team will come close to their scoring output in Week 1. One bright spot for the rookie owner was Boston College's Reggie Jackson (30pts, 8reb, 1ast, 1blk, 2stl), who dropped a career-high 30 points in a head-scratching loss to Yale. This was the Eagles' third straight season with a home loss to an Ivy Leaguer. Sutton & Sons' frontcourt production took a big hit when North Carolina State's Tracy Smith (4pts, 1reb) logged only 6 minutes before suffering a left knee injury in their game against East Carolina. It has yet to be determined how many games Smith will miss due to the injury.

The only other notable performance from Thursday's games was another player from the Big East. Georgetown's Chris Wright (12pts, 4reb, 12ast) gave Chalmers Chiefers their first double-double of the season in Georgetown's win over the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. What is a Chanticleer? But it might be too little, too late... as Chalmers Chiefers still faces a sizable deficit with only one player remaining, against Neenan's Warriors' two.

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 2

I know it's still early, but it looks like front-runners for Week 2's Player of the Week were in action on Wednesday. With no further update from the Game of the Week, we turn our attention elsewhere.

Neenan's Warriors is showing no mercy on Chalmers Chiefers, thanks to Kemba Walker (42pts, 8reb, 3ast, 1stl) and his career-high 42 points. But Walker wasn't the only Big East beast to break the half-century mark last night. After a shaky outing in Week 1, God's on my side has to be pleased he gave Tim Abromaitis (21pts, 10reb, 7ast, 1blk, 1stl) the starting nod in Week 2.

Purdue managed to outscore Alcorn State's 47 total points with 1:39 left... in the first half. Boilers had to be loving every minute of the Mackey Massacre. Simply put, E'Twaun Moore (19pts, 6reb, 7ast, 1stl) made the most of his 14 minutes of action, matching a career-high with 7 assists.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 2

The 'Game of the Week' finally got underway last night, but it wasn't the start Gordon Bombay had anticipated. Dating back to last season, Isaiah Thomas (9pts, 2reb, 4ast, 5stl) was held to single-digits for the first time in his last 9 games. With all six of Sutton & Sons' players in action on Thursday night, Gordon Bombay must have a productive weekend to get a win.

It was a great night for a couple of players from Division: Hamilton. Michigan State secured their 49th straight home win over a non-conference opponent, 82-73 over South Carolina. The Iron Men's Draymond Green (18pts, 12reb, 2ast, 4blk, 6stl) stuffed the stat sheet, as Tuesday's high scorer. WGP's Klay Thompson (23pts, 4reb, 9ast, 1blk, 2stl) is out to prove he is no longer a just a long-range bomber. In Washington State's first two games, the 6'6" junior has dished out 15 assists.

As for Saint D, it was one step forward and two steps back. Syracuse definitely found their Arinze Onuaku replacement in Rick Jackson (10pts, 22reb, 2ast, 2blk, 1stl). He's posted two straight double-doubles, while ripping down 35 boards in the process. Unfortunately, Jackson scored eight times as many points as his other three Saint D teammates combined: Colorado's Cory Higgins (4pts, 2reb, 2stl), Indiana's Maurice Creek (7pts, 2reb, 1blk), and Florida's Alex Tyus (4pts, 4reb) ...ouch.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 2

Monday's games almost exclusively featured the Jill Cousins vs. WGP matchup. Nikola Vucevic (22pts, 11reb, 1ast, 1blk, 1stl) and JaMychal Green (17pts, 7reb, 3stl) both went 8-for-14 from the floor. On the other hand, WGP's Augustus Gilchrist (7pts, 5reb, 1stl) and his South Florida Bulls struggled to escape with a 3-point victory over St. Francis (NY).

The only other game of note was the Jayhawks' beatdown of Valparaiso, where Bill Self and Kansas (-21.5) coasted to a 79-44 blowout, their 61st straight victory in Phog Allen Fieldhouse.
