Well it certainly wasn't pretty... but the Big XII remains a perfect 4-0 in the 2010 edition of the
Big XII/Pac-10 Hardwood Series after Thursday's games. The Kansas Jayhawks managed to extend their home winning streak to 64 games by the narrowest of margins, a
controversial 77-76 win over UCLA.
Marcus Morris (16pts, 6reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl) had a quiet 16 points for Jill Cousins, who is slowly running out of bullets in the
Game of the Week. Though not his forte, The Iron Men's
Tyshawn Taylor (17pts, 1reb, 4ast, 5stl) carried the out-of-sync Jayhawk offense for the majority of the second half.
Another member of The Iron Men, Baylor's
LaceDarius Dunn (24pts, 4reb, 2ast, 1stl)
buried six 3-pointers against Arizona State.
Perry Jones (12pts, 7reb, 4ast) chipped in, and is slowly becoming a solid frontcourt option for Neenan's Warriors.
