Fantasy College Hoops: Preview - Week 17

Here are the links to team-by-team schedules and current rosters. Remember, the deadline to submit lineups is 5:00pm on Monday, March 1st... so get them in! To those teams who have been eliminated from the playoffs, you are encouraged to submit a lineup. Postseason accolades are still at stake, and up for grabs!

Here are the starting lineups for Week 17.

Last call for Week 16's Player of the Week: Flight #001-Travis Leslie from Decatur, Georgia to DeMarcus Cousins' grill in Lexington, Kentucky is now boarding....

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday - Week 16

The first week of the finals are officially in the books, and ended on a rollercoaster Sunday. A pair of Huskies delivered some of the highs: Kemba Walker (28pts, 4reb, 3ast, 2blk) and Stanley Robinson (14pts, 13reb, 1ast, 1blk, 2stl) both rose to the occasion, pulling Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd and Boilers back into the race for the title. The bad news was the game's final outcome, a heartbreaking 78-76 loss to Louisville.

But the worst piece of news was reserved for Gordon Bombay. Virginia's Sylven Landesberg had been battling a strained thigh muscle for over a week, and was listed as a game-time decision for today's game against #5 Duke. After testing it in pregame warmups, Landesberg was ruled out just before tip-off. This goose egg is a devastating blow to Gordon Bombay's chances.

Here's a look at Week 16's current scoreboard and the playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 16

Saturday's games had 11 players in action, by far the busiest day of the finals so far. Surprisingly, only Wesley Johnson (14pts, 10reb, 4ast, 2stl) was able to break 30 fantasy points yesterday. Despite shooting a frigid 2-for-11 from the floor, #4 Syracuse still looked like the best team in the country. They took #8 Villanova behind the Carrier Dome's woodshed, in a game that was even worse than the 95-77 final score.

The league's #1 seed Crimson & Bluebloods is in the books for Week 16. So how did everyone else fare? Well, Gordon Bombay continues to get great production out of super sophomore Trey Thompkins (20pts, 7reb, 5ast) in a 78-76 win over their football rival, the Florida Gators. Thompkins has been the catalyst for Georgia's marked improvement, averaging 21.6 points and 10.2 rebounds over his last 5 games.

Alex Stepheson (4pts, 6reb, 1blk, 1stl) didn't do Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd any favors. Southern Cal's struggles continue, failing to score 50 points in each of their last three games (all losses).

But even more surprising was the disappearing act from Boilers' Tasmin Mitchell (6pts, 7reb), fouling out in only 21 minutes of playing time. For one of the league's best producers, it was just horrible timing to post your season-low in scoring.

Here is Week 16's current scoreboard, and the playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 16

I'm not sure if Gordon Bombay stayed up to watch the late game on the West Coast. But his point guard, Jerome Randle (24pts, 1reb, 7ast, 2stl) hit four three-pointers against Arizona, and topped 25 fantasy points for the third time in his last five starts. He is one of a few players that have steadily improved over the course of the season.

And Thursday's high scorer will likely come as a surprise... yet another recent free agent acquisition for Crimson & Bluebloods, Georgia's Travis Leslie (22pts, 10reb, 5ast, 1blk, 2stl) produced a solid double-double for a team lacking elite point producers. The Bulldogs took #17 Vanderbilt into overtime, before ultimately falling 96-94 to the Commodores.

But here's a look at Week 16's current scoreboard and the playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 16

Wednesday night's games featured a couple of the league's top dogs overcoming slow starts. Let's start with Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd's Mr. Everything, Evan Turner (25pts, 7reb, 7ast, 2blk, 3stl). Despite only making one field goal before half, Turner wreaked havoc on the defensive end and was a constant mismatch for Penn State. Though Ohio State's 17-point second half lead was sliced to just two at one point, the Buckeyes managed to hold on for the 75-67 win.

The only double-double from last night belonged to Boilers' Greivis Vasquez (15pts, 2reb, 13ast, 3stl), who has now scored over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four starts. Vasquez only had two points at halftime, but rallied the Terps from a 15-point deficit en route to a 88-79 win over the Clemson Tigers.

Here's a look at Week 16's current scoreboard and the playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 16

We're already two days into the finals, and only two players have seen the floor so far. But there wasn't be a shortage of highlight reel material, because they both had fantastic games. Boilers' Jamine Peterson (23pts, 6reb, 3ast, 1blk, 1stl), last week's POW, helped a pesky Providence team hang 52 points on #4 Syracuse in the first half. The Friars kept it close by burying 14 three-pointers, but their complete lack of defense gave them no real chance. With a 99-85 win, the Orange improved to 26-2 and clinched a double-bye into the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament.

The only other player from Tuesday's games was Greg Monroe (16pts, 14reb, 5ast, 2stl), as #13 Georgetown muscled out a tough road win at Freedom Hall against Louisville. Monroe showed off his whole arsenal against the Cards, including a variety of post moves and a nifty no-look pass. He has now scored 30+ for Crimson & Bluebloods in three of the last four weeks.

Here's a look at Week 16's current scoreboard and the playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 16

There weren't any starters from playoff teams in Monday night's games. But with pride on the line, WGP turned in a lineup and had a productive night. ESPN's Judgment Week kicked off with #1 ranked Kansas holding serve at home, an 81-68 victory against a short handed Oklahoma team. The Jayhawks' freshman Xavier Henry (23pts, 5reb, 1ast, 2blk) torched the nets, connecting on his first 8 shot attempts. Fellow WGP teammate Marcus Morris (10pts, 7reb, 3ast, 1stl) did not match his usual scoring output, but continued to be a menace on the glass. The Jayhawks have now won 58 straight games inside Phog Allen Fieldhouse, and clinched their sixth straight Big XII Conference regular-season title.

With no playoff updates yet, coupled with the fact that I wear crimson & blue sunglasses, I'll fill this space with some recent Jayhawk tidbits... Bill Self picked up some jungle karma from a 'Rome is Burning' interview on February 19th. And below is a video series by ESPN featuring inspirational coaches, with Self's take on motivation:

To those teams who have been eliminated from the playoffs, you are encouraged to submit a lineup. Postseason accolades are still at stake, and up for grabs!

Here are the four finalists, scheduled to compete over the next two weeks for the championship:

     - Crimson & Bluebloods
     - Gordon Bombay

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday - Week 15

It certainly wasn't pretty, but Crimson & Bluebloods avoided a potential disaster. Jay Wright and #4 Villanova (-2.5) made it interesting by losing at #19 Pittsburgh 70-65. Scottie Reynolds (20pts, 2reb, 3ast) did all he could, but The Pink Jellybeans came up just short.

Gordon Bombay put some icing on top of their playoff victory with a rare double-double from Kyle Singler (25pts, 10reb, 1blk, 2stl) in a hard-fought battle against Virginia Tech. And Jon Scheyer (15pts, 3reb, 7ast, 1stl) shot a frigid 4-for-19 from the field, officially ending God's on my side's season.

Here's a look at the Week 15's final scoreboard.

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 15

Chalmers Chiefers made Boilers sweat, thanks to pure domination by Cole Aldrich (17pts, 10reb, 2ast, 5blk, 1stl) in Kansas' 94-74 romp over Colorado at Allen Fieldhouse. But Tasmin Mitchell (25pts, 9reb, 4ast, 2blk) delivered yet another big time performance in a losing effort for LSU, helping Boilers become the first team in the league finals.

Another team who took control of their own destiny was Gordon Bombay. When they needed someone to step up, Trey Thompkins (21pts, 17reb, 3ast, 1blk, 1stl) posted a monster double-double in Georgia's 76-70 win over Alabama. The only blemish on his masterpiece of a game was missing twice as many free throws (3-for-8) as field goal attempts (9-for-12). Nevertheless, welcome to the finals Gordon Bombay!

And let's be honest, God's on my side never stood a chance without their heart and soul. Having to play without Harangody was basically a death sentence. But Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd and Landry Fields (16pts, 11reb, 6ast, 3blk) likely put to rest who the third team into the finals will be. It will take an absolute miracle on Sunday, but I just don't see it happening.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 15

Last night was a likely preview of the Big East Championship, as Jim Boeheim and #5 Syracuse (+2) held off a furious comeback by #10 Georgetown for a 75-71 win at the Verizon Center. Wes Johnson (16pts, 8reb, 3ast, 5blk, 2stl) broke out of his mini-slump, but was held to just two points in the second half. Last week's POW Greg Monroe (20pts, 9reb, 1ast, 1blk) battled early foul trouble and struggled against the nation's best 2-3 zone. In his two games against 'Cuse this year, Monroe has combined for 9 fouls and committed 11 turnovers. Crimson & Bluebloods, the league's #1 seed, will need a productive weekend to avoid a shocking upset.

The league's #2 seed, Gordon Bombay, is in a dogfight of his own thanks to WGP's solid production from unlikely sources. Though Marquette's Lazar Hayward (11pts, 6reb, 1ast, 3stl) shot a frigid 4-for-17 from the field against Pittsburgh, Nikola Vucevic (13pts, 10reb, 2ast) kept the underdog alive by producing Thursday's lone double-double.

After disappointing performances by Ashton Gibbs (2pts, 3reb, 1ast, 1stl) and Klay Thompson (8pts, 5reb, 2stl), God's on my side and Chalmers Chiefers both appear to be fading. They're still breathing, but they can't afford any of their remaining players to slip up... or they're toast.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard:

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 15

In the playoffs, survive and advance is the name of the game. A game-time decision according to his online diary, Luke Harangody was sporting street clothes for the second straight game after injuring his knee against Seton Hall last week. Taking full advantage of Harangody's absence, Samardo Samuels (36pts, 6reb, 2ast, 2blk) was a man among boys in the paint against Notre Dame. This one went to double overtime before their hack-a-Samardo strategy backfired, as he made 16 of his 19 free throw attempts.

No one needed his starters to step up more than shorthanded God's on my side, as he goes up against Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd. Evan Turner (29pts, 7reb, 5ast, 2stl) scored 25+ points for the third time in Ohio State's last five games. But this time, it was in a losing effort to Matt Painter and Purdue (+3). The Boilermakers are climbing back into the race for the Big Ten championship, which is music to Boilers' ears.

Speaking of Boilers, he regained a commanding lead thanks to last night's high scorer. Jamine Peterson (20pts, 15reb, 1ast, 1blk, 3stl) now has six double-doubles over the last nine weeks, and is a darkhorse candidate for league MVP. Greivis Vasquez (26pts, 4reb, 6ast, 1stl) chipped in with his sixth 30+ fantasy point game this season, putting the pressure squarely back on Chalmers Chiefers.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard:

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 15

There were an abundance of extraordinary performances on ESPN's Super Tuesday. John Calipari and #2 Kentucky (-3) had three players double-double, including John Wall (18pts, 10reb, 8ast, 2blk, 3stl) and Patrick Patterson (19pts, 10reb, 3blk, 1stl). But the Wildcats still needed overtime to outlast a rugged Mississippi State team in Starkville, 81-75.

With a shiny, new #23 ranking, the Demon Deacons fell victim to the Hokies in Blacksburg. The back-and-forth duel between Wake's Al-Farouq Aminu (25pts, 11reb, 2ast, 2blk, 1stl) and Virginia Tech's Malcolm Delaney (31pts, 9reb, 3ast, 2stl) was a battle until the final buzzer.

But last night definitely proved something... Chalmers Chiefers isn't going down without a fight. Tuesday's high scorer, DePaul's Mac Koshwal (24pts, 12reb, 1ast, 2blk, 8stl) played like a man possessed against Rutgers. After battling foot injuries for more than a month, Koshwal poured in 24 points and nabbed 8 steals, both season-highs. He now has three double-doubles in his last four games, and turned in just the type of performance Chalmers Chiefers desperately needs to pull off a major upset.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 15

Just when it looks like it can't get any worse for the struggling Connecticut Huskies, they go out do something like this... and totally redeem themselves. Boilers' Stanley Robinson (10pts, 7reb, 2ast, 2blk) kicked off the playoffs, but fumbled away a golden opportunity. Robinson officially coughed up a season-high seven turnovers against Villanova, and has only scored more than 10 points once in UConn's last four games.

Fantasy College Hoops: Recap - Week 14

Here are the headlines for Week 14: A nailbiter down to the very end, The Pink Jellybeans edged Neenan's Warriors for the eighth, and final playoff spot. While finishing with identical 6-8 records, their Week 4 head-to-head matchup - The Pink Jellybeans 157.45 vs. Neenan's Warriors 98.50 - served as the tiebreaker. For one of the league's hottest teams down the stretch, missing out on the postseason has to be a bitter pill to swallow.

Fantasy College Hoops: Update - Week 14

[Monday] College basketball's annual rivalry week showcased two résumé-building road wins. In the first head-to-head matchup of teams ranked in the top five, Jay Wright and #4 Villanova (+5.5) went into rough and rowdy Morgantown to knock off #5 West Virginia 82-75. It was a confidence restoring win for the Wildcats, after getting manhandled by Georgetown last week. In the late game, Bill Self and #1 Kansas (-2) recorded their first win in Austin since he became the head coach in Lawrence. Texas looked in complete disarray for much of the night, and the Jayhawks managed to throw in a 22-0 run over a 10:55 stretch in the first half. The only starting player in action last night was God's on my side's Ashton Gibbs (20pts, 3reb, 2ast), as Pittsburgh took a breather from rugged Big East play to bury Robert Morris 77-53. Gibbs' only shots taken were from behind the arc (4-10) and the charity stripe (8-8)... but that's nothing new.

[Tuesday] Despite a respectable 17-5 record - and three of those losses coming on the road to Purdue, Georgia Tech and Duke - Wake Forest remains unranked after downing Boston College 92-85 last night . Two Demon Deacons in particular, Al-Farouq Aminu (22pts, 8reb, 2ast, 4blk, 1stl) and newly acquired Ishmael Smith (9pts, 3reb, 11ast, 2stl), helped The Pink Jellybeans and Crimson & Bluebloods off to fast starts. Kentucky overcame another slow start, before pulling away from Ole Miss 66-55 in Lexington. Freshman phenom John Wall (22pts, 10reb, 2ast, 1blk, 3stl) still managed to double-double, despite matching a season-low two assists. And just after ending a decade long winless streak in Bloomington last week, Matt Painter and #6 Purdue (+2.5) went into the Breslin Center and handed #10 Michigan State a loss for the first time since 1998. E'Twaun Moore (25pts, 3reb, 6ast, 1stl) was clutch, knocking down four 3-pointers before delivering the final dagger, a smooth teardrop runner in the lane.

[Wednesday] With the league's last playoff spot hanging in the balance, The Pink Jellybeans dodged a major bullet. Although Booo Joel got a double-double from Craig Brackins (12pts, 14reb, 3stl), he only shot 5-for-16 from the floor. Overcoming a 2-player disadvantage is going to be one tough order now.

In the Game of the week, Neenan's Warriors underachieved while Crimson & Bluebloods fell flat on their faces last night. Courtney Fortson (17pts, 6reb, 5ast, 2stl) only logged 25 minutes, hardly playing in the second half of Arkansas' 87-52 blowout of LSU. Ekpe Udoh (8pts, 9reb, 3ast, 6blk) attempted a season-low four shots, but did hit the go-ahead bucket with :25 left in Baylor's 55-53 win at Nebraska. But last night was a disaster for the league's top-ranked squad, who's been struggling to put up points as of late. As it turns out, Ed Davis (4pts, 5reb, 1ast, 6blk) broke his wrist against Duke and will miss the rest of the season.

[Thursday] The last four nights have set the table for an exciting weekend of college hoops. The early game showcased Michigan's dynamic duo: Manny Harris (20pts, 4reb, 7ast, 2stl) and DeShawn Sims (27pts, 7reb, 1ast) raised the Wolverines' disappointing record to 12-12. Sims was Chalmers Chiefers first starting player to see action this week. While his opponent, Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd, only has one player remaining. We'll see if they can pull off the comeback over this weekend's games.

The matchup between Gordon Bombay and God's on my side is shaping up for a fantastic finish as well. Mike Montgomery and #13 California (-5.5) swept their regular season series with #24 Washington, a 93-81 home victory. Jerome Randle (33pts, 3reb, 3ast) buried a season-high 12 field goals, including 3-for-5 from downtown. But these teams' heavy hitters (i.e. Harangody, Varnado, James and Thompkins) have yet to see the floor. So it looks like this one could come right down to the wire...

[Friday] Round #2 of the Backyard Brawl ended as a triple-overtime thriller, with #23 Pittsburgh handing #4 West Virginia their second loss this week. Although the final score wasn't in their favor, a pair of Mountaineers - Da'Sean Butler (32pts, 11reb, 3ast, 2blk) and Devin Ebanks (17pts, 10reb, 4ast) - recorded double-doubles and combined to play for more than 100 minutes.

[Saturday] With the final playoff spot up for grabs, the Game of the week appears to be headed for a Valentine's Day showdown. Unfortunately for Neenan's Warriors, the reliable duo of Devan Downey (18pts, 2reb, 3ast) and Dominique Jones (16pts, 9reb, 1ast, 2blk) only managed to score 13 fantasy points a piece. That leaves the backdoor open for the projected #1 seed in the upcoming playoffs, Crimson & Bluebloods, to help The Pink Jellybeans into the playoffs.

WGP continued his hot streak, downing Boilers in an unexpected upset. With his second 40+ outing in as many weeks, Lazar Hayward (18pts, 14reb, 2blk, 3stl) notched his third double-double in Marquette's last five games. Gordon Bombay's Trey Thompkins (21pts, 10reb, 4ast, 1blk) recorded his first double-double since Week 8.

[Sunday] Despite not getting a single player to double-double, Crimson & Bluebloods dashed Neenan's Warriors postseason dreams, springing The Pink Jellybeans into the playoffs as the #8 seed. Greg Monroe (19pts, 8reb, 6ast, 4blk) did a little bit of everything in Georgetown's loss at Rutgers. While Mac Koshwal (11pts, 10reb, 5ast, 2blk, 2stl) led a scoring resurgence for Chalmers Chiefers, as they ended a 4-game losing streak by defeating Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd.

This week's most heartbreaking loss belongs to God's on my side. Luke Harangody suffered a severe knee bruise, after hyper-extending it against Seton Hall earlier in the week. He did not end up playing against St. John's today, which could have been surely been a shoe-in victory. Although there was no ligament or cartilage damage found on an MRI, Harangody will likely miss extended action. Reports indicate his first game back could be as late as February 24th against Pittsburgh. For now, it looks like God's on my side is going to have to battle through the first round of the playoffs without their wounded warrior.

Boilers (9-4), Gordon Bombay (10-3) and Crimson & Bluebloods (11-2) will all be eligible for the 6th man advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The final playoff spot is still up for grabs between Neenan's Warriors (6-7) and The Pink Jellybeans (5-8). Neenan's Warriors needs a win or a loss by The Pink Jellybeans in Week 14. Fantasy College Hoops: Update - Week 13

[Monday] There were only two games (2 players, 1 coach) of note last night. First was Louisville's 82-69 win over Connecticut, who has now lost 6 of their last 8 games. Samardo Samuels (13pts, 3reb, 2blk) shot just 5-for-16 from the floor, and fouled out for the first time all season. This was clearly not the start God's on my side had anticipated, considering his opponent. And the matchup between #6 Texas and Oklahoma State had the makings of an upset, early on. But the Longhorns went into a hostile Gallagher-Iba Arena and held off the Cowboys for a 72-60 win. Damion James (14pts, 6reb, 1ast, 1blk, 2stl) was not his usual self. Before last night, James had scored 20+ points in seven of his last eight games. But more concerning for Gordon Bombay has to be the rebounding: a season-low (6) and zero offensive rebounds (his specialty) for just the second time all season. With only one personal foul, it's not like a lack of minutes (35) was to blame. Fortunately for Texas, they're one of the deepest teams in America and can easily overcome an off-night from their best player.

[Tuesday] Chalmers Chiefers clearly got off on the wrong foot in the Game of the week. After averaging 32+ fantasy points over his last four starts, DeShawn Sims (4pts, 7reb, 1blk, 1stl) tied a season-low with four points on 2-of-9 shooting in Michigan's crushing 67-52 loss at Northwestern. To make matters worse, Jeremy Hazell (32pts, 3reb, 1ast, 2stl) had no trouble rubbing salt into the wound that is Chalmers Chiefers' recent struggles. The Pink Jellybeans are fighting for their playoff lives, and Scottie Reynolds (15pts, 4reb, 5ast, 1blk, 1stl) had a solid night. Jim Boeheim and Syracuse (-15) overmatched Providence on the front line for an 85-68 victory. Though no players were chosen in this game, the highlights were plentiful: featuring acrobatics by Crimson & Bluebloods' Wesley Johnson (8pts, 5reb, 2ast, 1blk, 1stl), and Boilers' Jamine Peterson tossing himself an alleyoop off the backboard (0:39).

[Wednesday] Last night's two high scorers were from the Game of the week. After a slow start for Chalmers Chiefers, Cole Aldrich (16pts, 14reb, 5blk) posted his fourth-straight double-double, with #1 Kansas escaping Colorado in overtime. But Neenan's Warriors has a legit big man of his own: Ekpe Udoh (19pts, 10reb, 4ast, 5blk, 1stl), showing off his versatility in an 84-63 blowout win over Iowa St. Once again, Courtney Fortson (27pts, 3reb, 4ast, 2stl) exploded on the offensive end. But four personal fouls and turnovers kept his fantasy point total relatively in check.

[Thursday] Chalmers Chiefers couldn't get any production out of Deon Thompson (8pts, 6reb, 1ast), before fouling out in North Carolina's sixth loss in their last eight games. With JaMychal Green (14pts, 5reb, 2ast, 3blk) not faring any better, the Game of the week is pretty much wrapped up before the weekend. Thursday's high scorer was a familar face, as Luke Harangody (37pts, 14reb, 2ast) poured in a season-high 37 points, and Notre Dame avenged an earlier loss to Cincinnati. There was no hangover for Landry Jones (35pts, 10reb, 2ast, 1blk, 1stl), last week's player of the week. Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd finally has some reliable producers to go along with Evan Turner... and they're peaking at the right time. Another team riding a hot streak is Boilers, who absolutely blew up last night. Tasmin Mitchell (13pts, 17reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl), Greivis Vasquez (23pts, 7reb, 7ast, 1stl) and Quincy Pondexter (30pts, 12reb, 3ast, 1blk) appear to have slammed the door on The Pink Jellybeans' fading playoff hopes.

[Friday] No players/games of record.

[Saturday] There were a ton of big time performers on Saturday, but one team came through in the clutch. With a difficult matchup against Booo Joel, WGP put up his highest point total on the season. Lazar Hayward (28pts, 9reb, 4ast, 1blk, 4stl) hit a season-high five three-pointers against Providence, while tying his season-high with 28 points. Da'Sean Butler (33pts, 6reb, 4ast, 2stl), erupted for a career-high 33 points against St. John's, and was a perfect 7-for-7 from three-point land. And after only scoring more than 25 fantasy points in one of his last six starts, Nikola Vucevic (18pts, 14reb, 1ast, 2blk) put the icing on WGP's slice of playoff cake.

[Sunday] The only matchup still in limbo on Sunday was Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd vs. Crimson & Bluebloods. Despite a career-high 32 points from Evan Turner (32pts, 7reb, 5ast, 4stl), it just wasn't enough. In the end, Ed Davis (10pts, 16reb, 1blk, 2stl) and John Shurna (16pts, 5reb, 6ast, 3blk) both went for 33 fantasy points, trumping the league's leader in points per start (48.07).

Fantasy College Hoops: Recap - Week 12

Here are the storylines for Week 12: For the first time all season, the top-scoring teams ended up playing each other in Week 12. After a three-game losing streak, Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd has now won his last three matchups. Staying in that division, Chalmers Chiefers is stumbling down the home stretch, losing in each of the last three weeks. This is a playoff team, but after a promising 7-2 start, they're clearly limping towards the finish line. With a win this week, the current division leaders - Boilers, Gordon Bombay and Crimson & Bluebloods - will clinch the 6th man advantage for the first round of the playoffs. More on that later...
