Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 15

In the playoffs, survive and advance is the name of the game. A game-time decision according to his online diary, Luke Harangody was sporting street clothes for the second straight game after injuring his knee against Seton Hall last week. Taking full advantage of Harangody's absence, Samardo Samuels (36pts, 6reb, 2ast, 2blk) was a man among boys in the paint against Notre Dame. This one went to double overtime before their hack-a-Samardo strategy backfired, as he made 16 of his 19 free throw attempts.

No one needed his starters to step up more than shorthanded God's on my side, as he goes up against Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd. Evan Turner (29pts, 7reb, 5ast, 2stl) scored 25+ points for the third time in Ohio State's last five games. But this time, it was in a losing effort to Matt Painter and Purdue (+3). The Boilermakers are climbing back into the race for the Big Ten championship, which is music to Boilers' ears.

Speaking of Boilers, he regained a commanding lead thanks to last night's high scorer. Jamine Peterson (20pts, 15reb, 1ast, 1blk, 3stl) now has six double-doubles over the last nine weeks, and is a darkhorse candidate for league MVP. Greivis Vasquez (26pts, 4reb, 6ast, 1stl) chipped in with his sixth 30+ fantasy point game this season, putting the pressure squarely back on Chalmers Chiefers.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard:
