Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 17

Gordon Bombay needed Villanova's Corey Fisher (22pts, 3ast) to redeem himself after last week's eyesore. Unfortunately, South Bend was a hornets' nest on Notre Dame's senior night. The #7 Fighting Irish sunk a school-record 20 3-pointers against #19 Villanova, as their senior duo of Ben Hansbrough (7-for-10) and Tim Abromaitis (9-for-13) went out in style. Fisher broke out of his recent shooting slump, hitting three 3-pointers of his own. But 'Nova never found a rhythm, as seemingly everything Notre Dame threw up went in.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.

  1. Crimson & Bluebloods: 169.05
  2. The Hammer: 149.15
  3. Gordon Bombay: 144.65
  4. Boilers: 144.25
Here are the starting lineups for Week 17.

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday/Recap - Week 16

Player of the Week: Matthew Bryan-Amaning, F, Washington
Sunday: Gordon Bombay and The Hammer each had a pair of players on the final day of Week 16. Last week's hero, Wisconsin's Jon Leuer (26pts, 6reb, 1ast, 1stl), torched Northwestern for 26 points on 9-for-14 shooting. But Maryland's Jordan Williams (16pts, 19reb, 3blk, 3stl) helped make up the most ground for Gordon Bombay, with a monster double-double in a losing effort in Chapel Hill. The Hammer's duo did not fare nearly as well. Early foul trouble limited Ohio State's Jared Sullinger (5pts, 7reb, 1ast, 1blk) to 12 minutes against Indiana. And Providence's Marshon Brooks (17pts, 4reb, 4ast, 1blk, 2stl) had a solid line against Marquette, but it doesn't even come close to his 52-point game from earlier in the week.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.

Free Agency: None.

Injury/Roster Report: Everyone looks to be going at full strength heading into the final week of the playoffs. Let the best team win!

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 16

Saturday featured players from all four finalists, so let's jump right in!

After shooting a dreadful 1-for-10 against red hot St. John's, 'Nova's Corey Fisher (2pts, 7ast) put Gordon Bombay in an early hole. Since his career-high 34-point outburst against DePaul, Fisher has shot a collective 4-for-26 - including 0-for-16 from behind the arc - over his last two games.

AP Photo/Alonzo Adams
The Hammer owned Saturday's top two performers, which helped him rebound from a slow start. Kansas' Marcus Morris (23pts, 9reb, 2ast, 2blk, 1stl) was untouchable in Norman, as the Sooners were seeing double all afternoon. Southern Cal's Nikola Vucevic (20pts, 10reb, 1blk) continued his domination of inferior Pac-10 frontcourts after logging his sixth straight double-double against Arizona State on Saturday.

Boilers' final player for Week 16 came up one assist shy of a double-double of his own. Diante Garrett (17pts, 5reb, 9ast) led five Cyclones in double-figures with 17 points, and logged all 45 minutes of Iowa State's 83-82 overtime win over Nebraska.

AP Photo/Wade Payne
Consistency was the name of the game for Crimson & Bluebloods' three Saturday performers. Georgia's Trey Thompkins (20pts, 8reb, 1ast, 3blk, 1stl), Arizona's Derrick Williams (15pts, 7reb, 3blk, 1stl) and Mississippi State's Dee Bost (14pts, 6reb, 10ast) all failed to break 30+ fantasy points. But their 77.50 collective effort helped ensure the two-time defending champs will head into the last week of the playoffs with the lead.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 16

ESPN's Thursday Night Showcase featured the Backyard Brawl, as Gordon Bombay's Jamie Dixon and #6 Pittsburgh (-7.5) are in the hunt for a #1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Mountaineers held a surprising 31-30 advantage at halftime. But the Panthers stormed back with 41 points in the final 20 minutes, good for a 71-58 win. Even more impressive was Pittsburgh's 23 assists on their 27 made field goals.

The only other player in action was Penn State's Talor Battle (13pts, 4reb, 3ast, 1stl) for Crimson & Bluebloods. Although he was the team's leading scorer in nine straight games, Battle only hung 13 on Northwestern Thursday night.

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 16

Over the last three seasons, it's been a love-hate relationship between Boilers and Boston College's Joe Trapani (16pts, 11reb, 1ast, 1blk, 2stl). First, Boilers picked him in the 3rd round of the draft. After a disappointing start to the season with little to no production, Boilers dropped Trapani in mid-December. Fast-forward to last week, when Boilers reacquired Trapani in a last-minute effort to bolster his postseason roster. And last night, the grizzled veteran came through in the clutch with Wednesday's high score. A 16-point, 11-rebound effort against Miami had to bring back some fond memories. But with just one player remaining for Week 16, Boilers still has a lot of work to do.

Boilers was naturally heavily invested in Purdue, winners of five in a row. Matt Painter and #8 Purdue (-5) took care of business in Bloomington, with a 72-61 victory over their hated rival. E'Twaun Moore (17pts, 6reb, 5ast, 1blk) posted a solid all-around game against the Hoosiers. While fellow senior JaJuan Johnson (20pts, 9reb, 1ast, 1blk, 1stl) just missed a double-double for Gordon Bombay.

And The Hammer might be kicking himself for missing out on Marshon Brooks' 52-point night against Notre Dame. The Hammer's first player in the books was Wisconsin's Jordan Taylor (20pts, 4reb, 5ast, 1stl), who survived a trip to Ann Arbor, after a buzzer-beating, off-the-glass, game-winning 3-pointer from Badger teammate Josh Gasser.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 16

Super Tuesday featured two players from three of the four finalists. In ACC action, Virginia Tech walked over Wake Forest, the league's cellar dweller. The Hokies' senior inside-outside duo of Gordon Bombay's Malcolm Delaney (17pts, 5reb, 3ast, 2stl) and Boilers' Jeff Allen (17pts, 8reb, 2ast, 1stl) each went for 17 points, but also committed 5 turnovers apiece.

Boilers got some good news when Minnesota's Trevor Mbakwe (13pts, 10reb, 1ast, 1blk, 1stl) double-doubled in a losing effort against Michigan State. The Gophers now find themselves squarely on the NCAA bubble, after losing seven of their last eight games.

AP Photo/Michael Thomas
Crimson & Bluebloods passed an early test during ESPN's Judgment Week. Tuesday's top two scoring players were Texas' Jordan Hamilton (20pts, 8reb, 1ast, 1stl) and Washington's Matt Bryan-Amaning (24pts, 13reb), helping the two-time champs jump out to an early lead.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 16

Getty Images/Jim McIsaac
Big Monday's marquee matchup between two Big East heavyweights was ESPN's Highlight of the Night. As the only participant from the four playoff rosters, The Hammer's head coach Jim Boeheim and #20 Syracuse (+4) visited #14 Villanova at Wells Fargo Center. Thanks to some gutsy performances by a pair of Philly natives, Rick Jackson and Scoop Jardine, the underdog Orange squeezed by 'Nova 69-64.

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday/Recap - Week 15

Player of the Week: Kemba Walker, G, Connecticut
AP Photo/Andy Manis
Sunday: Crimson & Bluebloods, The Hammer and Boilers had already punched their ticket to the fantasy college hoops finals before Sunday's games. The only question remaining: Would Gordon Bombay or Nosotros Creemos be the fourth finalist? Though it was a hell of a game, Purdue's JaJuan Johnson (13pts, 6reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl) was a non-factor in the Boilermakers' upset of #3 Ohio State. That meant Gordon Bombay needed 35.16 fantasy points from Wisconsin's Jon Leuer (22pts, 10reb, 3ast) against Penn State, his only player remaining. And wouldn't you know it? With just 23 seconds remaining Leuer grabbed his 10th rebound, earning the double-double bonus and bringing his point total to... 35.70! So by the narrowest of margins, Gordon Bombay slips past Nosotros Creemos by less than one point to earn a spot in the finals.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.

Free Agency: Boilers dropped Chris Singleton, F, Florida State and added Joe Trapani, F, Boston College; Crimson & Bluebloods dropped Kyrie Irving, G, Duke and added Earnest Ross, G, Auburn; The Iron Men dropped Tyshawn Taylor, G, Kansas and added Scoop Jardine, G, Syracuse.

Injury/Roster Report: There are no significant injuries for the four teams in the finals... no excuses!

Here's a look at the Top 50 in scoring through Week 15.

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 15

#1 Crimson & Bluebloods vs. #8 Neenan's Warriors
Crimson & Blueblods smelled blood in the water on Saturday. And they wasted no time going in for the kill. Georgia's Trey Thompkins (11pts, 9reb, 2ast, 2blk, 6stl) fell one rebound shy of a double-double against Tennessee... but the damage was done. It all came down to Marquette's Jimmy Butler (16pts, 3reb, 1ast, 2stl) late Saturday night. And while I'm sure Neenan's Warriors wouldn't want the ball in any other players' hands, they came up just short against the two-time defending champs. You have to give this #8 seed all the credit in the world. Not only did they give Crimson & Bluebloods all they could handle, but they will likely end up the second highest scoring team this week.

#2 Gordon Bombay vs. #7 Nosotros Creemos

AP Photo/Charles Cherney
AP Photo/Steve Nesius

After Corey Fisher (34pts, 5reb, 1ast, 3stl) went off for a career-high 34 points in Villanova's 77-75 overtime win over DePaul, Gordon Bombay was in Nosotros Creemos' ear all afternoon. That bulletin board material proved costly, as Georgetown's Chris Wright (26pts, 3reb, 4ast, 1stl) played with a chip on his shoulder. Heading into the final day of Week 15, Gordon Bombay still has work to do... but you can bet these two will be blowing up each other's phones all day long.

#3 The Hammer vs. #6 Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd

AP Photo/Brian Ray
The only significant performance from Saturday was Michigan's Darius Morris (20pts, 5reb, 9ast, 2stl) in a 75-72 overtime win against the Iowa Hawkeyes. It was Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd's first player to score more than 20+ fantasy points. They now face at least an 87-point deficit and with just one player remaining. I'd be willing to bet The Hammer has already uncorked the champagne at this point.

#4 Boilers vs. #5 The Iron Men
AP Photo/Steve Pope
The Iron Men didn't need anything special to get a spot in the finals. But they couldn't afford to waste opportunities, either. Unfortunately, his Syracuse duo of Kris Joseph (21pts, 8reb, 4ast) and Scoop Jardine (9pts, 4ast, 1stl) failed to outscore a double-double from Iowa State's Diante Garrett (12pts, 6reb, 10ast) of Boilers. But Michigan State's Draymond Green (5pts, 6reb, 1ast, 1blk, 2stl), who was battling flu-like symptoms over the past couple days, sealed The Iron Men's fate. Though he did not start, Green did manage to log 27 minutes against Illinois. He only attempted three shots, and looked like a shell of himself after garnering Player of the Week just five days ago. Let the celebration begin for Boilers!

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 15

#1 Crimson & Bluebloods vs. #8 Neenan's Warriors
AP Photo/Matt York
The last team in the playoffs was giving top-seeded Crimson & Bluebloods all they could handle. The commish knew that Thursday's games would be critical in order to reserve a spot in the finals. Though scoring has been sparse over the past few weeks, Crimson & Bluebloods rose to the occasion. Penn State's Talor Battle (28pts, 2reb, 1ast) and Minnesota's Blake Hoffarber (18pts, 2reb, 7ast) went head-to-head in Happy Valley. The opposing point guards combined to shoot 13-for-27 from behind the arc. But the most damage was done by a pair of frontcourt beasts... Derrick Williams (26pts, 8reb, 2ast, 1blk, 1stl) currently leads the nation in field goal percentage (64.0) and free throw attempts (9.2). Against Washington State, he went 7-for-10 from the floor and 12-for-12 from the charity stripe. His team-high 26 points helped a surging Arizona squad fend off the Cougars 79-70. But the commish saved his best for last... as a monster double-double from reserve Matt Bryan-Amaning (22pts, 12reb, 3ast, 4blk) turned the tables on Neenan's Warriors.

#2 Gordon Bombay vs. #7 Nosotros Creemos
Round 3 of the Sinovic Bowl a rubber match with family bragging rights at stake. But it's also shaping up to be an instant classic. The only players on Thursday were Northwestern's John Shurna (15pts, 2reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl) and Washington's Isaiah Thomas (11pts, 4reb, 6ast). While neither one lit up the scoreboard, you have to think the longer Nosotros Creemos can hang around, the more this squad will start to believe they can pull off the upset.

#3 The Hammer vs. #6 Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd
The Hammer had to be patient, but his big guns came through on Thursday. Southern Cal's Nikola Vucevic (21pts, 10reb, 2ast, 1blk, 1stl) and Providence's Marshon Brooks (28pts, 7reb, 2ast, 1blk, 3stl) have built a safe lead heading into the weekend. As for Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd, they simply never recovered from their dreadful start to the week. UCLA's Reeves Nelson (18pts, 7reb, 3ast) had a decent game against Stanford. But it's safe to say that this one is over...

#4 Boilers vs. #5 The Iron Men
The only player from this one was Minnesota's Trevor Mbakwe (16pts, 12reb, 2ast), delivering a much needed double-double for Boilers. This matchup is coming down to the wire... with only a few players left on each side, a spot in the finals will be truly up for grabs during the weekend.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 15

#1 Crimson & Bluebloods vs. #8 Neenan's Warriors
AP Photo/Fred Beckham
We're halfway through the week, and Neenan's Warriors continues his bid for a monumental upset over top-seeded Crimson & Bluebloods. UConn's Kemba Walker (31pts, 7reb, 10ast, 1blk, 2stl) usually plays his best in the biggest games. Against #9 Georgetown, Walker showed why he deserves to be named Big East Player of the Year. He logged all 40 minutes and put on a clinic for running the high pick-and-roll.

#2 Gordon Bombay vs. #7 Nosotros Creemos
Gordon Bombay was the beneficiary of their 6th man advantage, as Vanderbilt's Festus Ezeli (10pts, 12reb, 7blk) will likely factor into the final outcome of this matchup. His career-high seven blocks helped the Commodores finish the game on a 24-3 run, while holding Georgia without a field goal for the last 9:47 of the game.

#3 The Hammer vs. #6 Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd
The only player from this matchup in Wednesday's games was Duke's Kyle Singler (2pts, 4reb, 2ast), who had the least effective game of his collegiate career. It couldn't have been worse timing for Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd, ruining a golden opportunity to take down one of the league's big dogs. Singler's 1-for-5 shooting night, coupled with four personal fouls and five turnovers, is a recipe for playoff disaster.
AP Photo/Wade Payne

#4 Boilers vs. #5 The Iron Men
This matchup continues to get better and better... Duke's Nolan Smith (22pts, 7reb, 4ast, 1stl) carried the scoring load for the Blue Devils, who were held to a season-low 56 points against Virginia. The Iron Men's Scotty Hopson (23pts, 4reb, 1stl) and his fashionable flat-top were dynamite against South Carolina. Hopson's 23 points was his highest scoring game in SEC play, while stopping the Volunteer's three-game losing streak in the process.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 15

#1 Crimson & Bluebloods vs. #8 Neenan's Warriors
AP Photo/James Crisp
With four players in action, Neenan's Warriors needed to get off to a strong start. Seton Hall's Jeremy Hazell (25pts, 1reb, 4stl) and Baylor's Perry Jones (14pts, 7reb, 3ast, 1blk, 1stl) didn't come up with anything extraordinary. But after some home cooking just before halftime, Kentucky's Brandon Knight (24pts, 3reb, 7ast) started to heat up in the second half. His seven assists were one shy of his career-high. And playing 38 minutes without picking up a personal foul was icing on the cake.

#2 Gordon Bombay vs. #7 Nosotros Creemos
Kentucky's other sensational freshman, Terrence Jones (17pts, 10reb, 5ast, 2stl) put in some major work against Mississippi State's frontcourt. This postseason double-double had to be extra painful for Gordon Bombay, who traded Jones to Nosotros Creemos (previously Chalmers Chiefers) way back in Week 4. Ironically, the other player involved in the trade was also in action on Tuesday. And despite a 3-for-14 shooting night, Malcolm Delaney (22pts, 6reb, 5ast, 3stl) buried all 14 of his free throw attempts, and did not commit a turnover while playing all 40 minutes.

#3 The Hammer vs. #6 Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd
It was a nightmarish game for the best freshman in the country. Ohio State's Jared Sullinger (11pts, 2reb, 1ast, 2stl) could only log 27 minutes and a career-low 2 rebounds against Michigan State. Luckily for the #3 seed, Miami's Durand Scott (12pts, 12reb, 2ast, 3stl) cushioned the blow, posting a surprise double-double against UNC-Greensboro.
AP Photo/Gerry Broome

#4 Boilers vs. #5 The Iron Men
This is shaping up to be a great matchup. Each squad's frontcourt stud brought their A-game. Boilers' Jeff Allen (16pts, 11reb, 3ast, 1blk) recorded his sixth straight double-double for Virginia Tech. The Iron Men's John Henson (14pts, 13reb, 2ast, 5blk, 1stl) was Tuesday's top scorer, and has double-doubled in five of North Carolina's last six games.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 15

http://www.kstatesports.com/view.gal?id=87103
I'll be honest, watching Jacob Pullen torch the Jayhawks felt more like a Valentine's Day Massacre. But you have to give credit to the Wildcats for putting their differences aside and playing up to their potential. Granted, I didn't expect a court rushing after the upset... and certainly not this or this or this from the Kansas State athletic department. After receiving the nation's #1 ranking just hours before tip-off, Kansas (-6) was stunned in what head coach Bill Self referred to as an 84-68 'beatdown'. The loss sure didn't help The Iron Men's chances, as they end Monday night in the red. The Hammer's Marcus Morris (13pts, 3reb, 2ast, 1blk, 3stl) battled early foul trouble and struggled mightily against the Wildcats' ferocious defense.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.

Here are the links to team-by-team schedules and current rosters. Remember, the deadline to submit your lineups is 5:00pm on Monday, February 14th... so get them in! You may submit them as a comment to this post or reply to my email with the template. Whatever works for you! Here are the matchups and starting lineups for Week 15 - the first round of the playoffs.

#1 *Crimson & Bluebloods (14-0) vs. #8 Neenan's Warriors (5-9)
#2 *Gordon Bombay (10-4) vs. #7 Nosotros Creemos (5-9)
#3 *The Hammer (9-5) vs. #6 Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd (6-8)
#4 Boilers (9-5) vs. #5 The Iron Men (6-8)

* Eligible for 6th man advantage

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday/Recap - Week 14

Player of the Week: Draymond Green, F, Michigan State
Sunday: The Iron Men weren't the only team to score 200+ this week. A pair of Hokies helped Gordon Bombay and Boilers pour it on their opponents on Sunday. Malcolm Delaney (33pts, 6reb, 5ast, 3stl) and Jeff Allen (25pts, 14reb, 2ast) combined to shoot 19-for-29 from the floor and 17-for-19 from the charity stripe.

Neenan's Warriors snagged the 8th and final spot in the playoffs, after a big time performance from Connecticut's Kemba Walker (22pts, 6reb, 7ast, 1stl) against Providence pushed them above WGP in total points.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.

Free Agency: God's on my side dropped Jeff Robinson, F, Seton Hall and added John Jenkins, G, Vanderbilt.

Injury/Roster Report: Though he hasn't cracked the starting lineup in quite some time, Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd will likely be without Thomas Robinson for two weeks, after undergoing knee surgery on his right meniscus following Kansas' win against Missouri. But Boilers was dealt a devastating blow, when Chris Singleton needed surgery after breaking his foot against Virginia.

Here's a look at the Top 50 in scoring through Week 14.

Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 14

In the Game of the Week, Crimson & Bluebloods appears to be coasting to a perfect 14-0 regular season record. Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd's struggles continued on Saturday, as Florida's Kenny Boynton (12pts, 1stl) and UCLA's Reeves Nelson (9pts, 7reb) could only manage to 16.75 fantasy points combined.

The Hammer tried to make one last gasp at a comeback with an impressive double-double from Ohio State's Jared Sullinger (19pts, 12reb, 1blk, 1stl)... but even that didn't make a difference. The Iron Men's John Henson (14pts, 12reb, 2ast, 4blk, 1stl) had a double-double of his own, on his way to becoming Saturday's top performer.

Sutton & Sons needed a career high from Boston College's Reggie Jackson (31pts, 8reb, 1ast, 1stl) and will head into Sunday with a relatively safe lead over Nosotros Creemos. While a playoff berth is a fantasy at this point, it's always fun to play spoiler down the stretch.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 14

In Week 14's Game of the Week, Crimson & Bluebloods' scoring hasn't been through the roof. But the bigger story is the overall struggles of Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd. Both of his Southern Cal teammates Alex Stepheson (9pts, 9reb, 1blk, 2stl) and Jio Fontan (9pts, 3reb, 4ast, 1blk, 1stl) were held well below their season averages.

Gordon Bombay continued his hot streak with a solid outing from Isaiah Thomas (23pts, 4reb, 9ast, 1stl) after hitting seven 3-pointers and dishing out nine assists in Washington's 109-77 win over California.

Boilers is another squad who is putting up eyeopening numbers. A pair of double-doubles from Florida State's Chris Singleton (16pts, 10reb, 1ast, 1blk, 2stl) and Minnesota's Trevor Mbakwe (17pts, 16reb, 2ast, 2blk, 1stl) ensured a win in their regular season finale.

But Thursday was all about The Iron Men and Michigan State's Draymond Green (15pts, 14reb, 10ast, 3blk, 2stl), credited with the first triple-double of the season. This was easily the highest scoring performance of the season, and has all but sealed The Hammer's fate before the weekend games tip off.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 14

During Rivalry Week, ESPN should go by Eastern Sports Propaganda Network, because everything revolves around the Duke/North Carolina matchup. Despite the hostile territory, the Tar Heels owned a commanding 43-29 advantage at halftime. But Roy's boys showed their youth, as the Blue Devils outscored them 50-30 in the second half. In the Game of the Week, Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd's Kyle Singler (10pts, 8reb, 2ast) picked an awful spot to go 3-for-17 from the floor. Fellow Dukie senior, Boilers' Nolan Smith (34pts, 2reb, 3ast, 1stl), has scored 20+ in 12 of Duke's last 15 games. On bright spot for North Carolina was the play of Sutton & Sons' Tyler Zeller (24pts, 13reb, 1blk), ripping down a career-high 13 rebounds.

But make no mistake, Wednesday night belonged to a "peaking at the right time" Gordon Bombay squad. Double-doubles from Wisconsin's Jon Leuer (19pts, 15reb, 4ast, 1blk, 1stl) and Villanova's Corey Fisher (23pts, 1reb, 10ast, 5stl) gave Gordon Bombay 88+ fantasy points combined.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 14

Georgia vs. Xavier was certainly an unconventional game for ESPN's Rivalry Week. Nevertheless, a pair of Bulldogs hit the hardwood for Crimson & Bluebloods and WGP in a late non-conference matchup. Trey Thompkins (14pts, 9reb, 3ast, 4blk) dominated the first half with 12 points and 5 boards. But he picked up four personal fouls after halftime, and was DQ'ed before recording a double-double. Travis Leslie (10pts, 7reb, 5ast, 1blk) showed flashes of brilliance, but couldn't help overcome Georgia's 2-for-13 night from behind the arc.

Currently riding a three-game win streak, Nosotros Creemos was hoping for a big night from Terrence Jones (10pts, 11reb, 2ast, 4blk) in Kentucky's matchup against Tennessee. The Wildcats spoiled Bruce Pearl's return to the sideline with a 73-61 win. The freshman phenom double-doubled, but could only manage a 2-for-9 shooting night, while committing eight turnovers against the Volunteers' pressure defense.

AP Photo/Michael Conroy
The only other two players from Super Tuesday's slate of games were a pair of Boilermakers in Purdue's 67-53 win over the Indiana Hoosiers. Gordon Bombay's JaJuan Johnson (15pts, 8reb, 1ast, 4blk, 1stl) was held to15 points on his 21st birthday, breaking a string of seven straight games with 20+. But Tuesday's top scorer was Boilers' E'Twaun Moore (25pts, 8reb, 1ast, 2blk), who buried three 3-pointers and broke 30+ fantasy points for the third time this season.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 14

Photo by Jeff & Laura Jacobsen
ESPN's 15th annual Rivalry Week kicked off with the Border War on Monday night. This early marquee matchup featured Bill Self and #2 Kansas (-11) against #20 Missouri. It was a seesaw battle in the first half, but the Jayhawks held a 46-42 halftime advantage. Thanks to a strong performance from the Jayhawk bench (36 points) plus a lack of defensive intensity from both sides, and Kansas was able to break the century mark for the first time since their season opener against Longwood. The Hammer's Marcus Morris (22pts, 8reb, 3ast) and WGP's Markieff Morris (16pts, 7reb, 4ast, 3blk) led the way as 57 second-half points helped secure a Jayhawk victory over their bitter rivals.

Fantasy College Hoops: Sunday/Recap - Week 13

Player of the Week: Jordan Williams, F, Maryland
Sunday: The Iron Men got a late double-double from John Henson (16pts, 10reb, 1blk) in North Carolina's 89-69 cakewalk over Florida State. In the end, guard production ended up costing this squad. And this was basically a must-win matchup for both teams, so I wouldn't hold my breath on The Iron Men making the playoffs now.

And it wasn't pretty, but Crimson & Bluebloods remained undefeated after a gutsy performance from Penn State's Talor Battle (31pts, 7reb, 1ast) against Michigan. With one week left in the regular season, only Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd is standing between the two-time defending champs and a perfect season.

Here's a look at Week 13's final scoreboard.

Free agency: None.

Injury/Roster Report: Although not listed on the scouting report, Tennessee's Scotty Hopson has not been in the Volunteers' lineup. There's more salt in the would for The Iron Men, as Kansas' Josh Selby (stress fracture) sat out against Nebraska and is doubtful for their game tonight against Missouri. Pittsburgh's Ashton Gibbs (MCL injury) will miss the next 10-14 days, so God's on my side will need to go without one of his star guards in the final week of the season.

Here's a look at the Top 50 in scoring through Week 13.

God's on my side has a Game of the Week victory well in hand. Even bigger is his season sweep of The Iron Men, which will definitely factor in to the playoff picture. Pittsburgh's Ashton Gibbs (25pts, 1reb, 2ast) was perfect (5-for-5) from behind the arc, as the 4th ranked Panthers took care of business against Cincinnati.

Sutton & Sons' Khris Middleton (18pts, 9reb, 7ast, 3stl) flirted with a triple-double. Unfortunately, he probably would have needed it in order to take down Gordon Bombay this week. Jordan Williams (27pts, 15reb, 2ast, 3blk, 1stl) did his best DeMarcus Cousins impression against Wake Forest. The 260-pound sophomore tied season highs of points (27) and rebounds (15) and did not pick up one foul in 34 minutes... simply amazing.

Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 13

There wasn't any movement in the Game of the Week, but some of the other matchups are getting pretty interesting. One in particular would be The Hammer (9-3) vs. WGP (3-9). Ohio State's Jared Sullinger (19pts, 15reb, 2ast, 2blk) went into beast mode against their rival game against Michigan. But a 5-for-11 outing from the charity stripe damaged what could have been a banner day for the talented freshman. WGP countered with a big game out of Ben Hansbrough (24pts, 3reb, 3ast, 1stl) in Notre Dame's 83-58 thrashing of DePaul, the Big East's punching bag.

Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 13

If Wednesday night was any indication, the Game of the Week appears to be a low-scoring affair. A pair of Spartans were both disappointing in their embarrassing 72-52 loss at Iowa. God's on my side's Kalin Lucas (17pts, 2reb, 1stl) shot a chilly 5-for-16 from the floor. While The Iron Men's Draymond Green (11pts, 5reb, 2ast, 2stl) committed four personal fouls and turned the ball over five times. These two performances are indicative of how Sparty's season has gone this year. And with a trip to Madison on the horizon, Michigan State might have lost five of their last six after the weekend.

Syracuse's Rick Jackson (13pts, 13reb, 3ast, 1blk) has now double-doubled in four straight weeks for Saint D. The 'Cuse were desperate for a win, while riding a 4-game losing streak. The Orange managed to pull off a 66-58 upset against UConn, and their vaunted 2-3 zone forced #7 Huskies to shoot 36.2% for the game.

But Wednesday's top scorer was Nosotros Creemos' Tony Mitchell (23pts, 7reb, 3blk, 2stl) in Alabama's 75-61 win over Mississippi State. Just two weeks removed from 11th place, Nosotros Creemos is making a strong push for the playoffs, and would help his chances greatly with a win over Neenan's Warriors this week.

Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 13

Last night was the perfect example of what fantasy college hoops is all about. The Game of the Week features two squads battling for their playoff lives. God's on my side has only had one 30+ scorers (Tristan Thompson) since Week 7... but he got two in last night's games. The first was North Carolina's Harrison Barnes (26pts, 6reb, 1ast), who buried four 3-pointers, posting a career-high 26 points in a lopsided 106-74 victory over Boston College. The second was Colorado's Alec Burks (19pts, 10reb, 5ast, 2blk, 1stl), with his second double-double this year, as Colorado stampeded Iowa State 95-69.

The Morris twins went head-to-head last night, and WGP's Markieff Morris (11pts, 12reb, 1blk) got the better of The Hammer's Marcus Morris (18pts, 4reb, 1ast, 1stl) in the Jayhawks' rout of Texas Tech. The 88-66 win was head coach Bill Self's first ever in Lubbock, after coming away empty-handed in his first three tries. Rarely guarded entry passes fueled the frontcourt dominance, as the Jayhawks made this one look easy.

Nosotros Creemos continues his steady push for a playoff spot, as he owned last night's top score. Kentucky's Terrence Jones (22pts, 12reb, 2ast, 4blk, 1stl) rebounded from back-to-back sluggish performances in Weeks 11 & 12. Despite Jones' big night, the game-winning shot belonged to a Nosotros Creemos teammate. Although he didn't get the start, Chris Warren sunk a game-winning 25-footer with 2.9 seconds left, giving the Rebels a 71-69 upset of 11th ranked Kentucky.

Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 13

Lucky number Week 13 got off to a sluggish start, with only two players in action. Saint D's Austin Freeman (13pts, 3reb, 3ast, 3stl) and the Georgetown Hoyas won 62-59 against Louisville, in an atrocious 40 minutes featuring 32 turnovers against 42 made field goals. Freeman's six turnovers were his most since the '09 season.

Saint D's Week 13 opponent, Crimson & Bluebloods had one player showcased on ESPN's Big Monday. Fresh off his Player of the Week performance, Jordan Hamilton (20pts, 6reb, 3ast, 2blk) put on a show in College Station. While scoring a game-high 20 points, Hamilton also held the Aggies' super sophomore Khris Middleton (15.7ppg) scoreless, and 0-for-9 from the field. Now that Hamilton is finally buying in on the defensive end, he's looking more and more like a 1st team All-American.
