Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 16

Over the last three seasons, it's been a love-hate relationship between Boilers and Boston College's Joe Trapani (16pts, 11reb, 1ast, 1blk, 2stl). First, Boilers picked him in the 3rd round of the draft. After a disappointing start to the season with little to no production, Boilers dropped Trapani in mid-December. Fast-forward to last week, when Boilers reacquired Trapani in a last-minute effort to bolster his postseason roster. And last night, the grizzled veteran came through in the clutch with Wednesday's high score. A 16-point, 11-rebound effort against Miami had to bring back some fond memories. But with just one player remaining for Week 16, Boilers still has a lot of work to do.

Boilers was naturally heavily invested in Purdue, winners of five in a row. Matt Painter and #8 Purdue (-5) took care of business in Bloomington, with a 72-61 victory over their hated rival. E'Twaun Moore (17pts, 6reb, 5ast, 1blk) posted a solid all-around game against the Hoosiers. While fellow senior JaJuan Johnson (20pts, 9reb, 1ast, 1blk, 1stl) just missed a double-double for Gordon Bombay.

And The Hammer might be kicking himself for missing out on Marshon Brooks' 52-point night against Notre Dame. The Hammer's first player in the books was Wisconsin's Jordan Taylor (20pts, 4reb, 5ast, 1stl), who survived a trip to Ann Arbor, after a buzzer-beating, off-the-glass, game-winning 3-pointer from Badger teammate Josh Gasser.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard and playoff bracket.
