Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 13
If Wednesday night was any indication, the Game of the Week appears to be a low-scoring affair. A pair of Spartans were both disappointing in their embarrassing 72-52 loss at Iowa. God's on my side's Kalin Lucas (17pts, 2reb, 1stl) shot a chilly 5-for-16 from the floor. While The Iron Men's Draymond Green (11pts, 5reb, 2ast, 2stl) committed four personal fouls and turned the ball over five times. These two performances are indicative of how Sparty's season has gone this year. And with a trip to Madison on the horizon, Michigan State might have lost five of their last six after the weekend.
Syracuse's Rick Jackson (13pts, 13reb, 3ast, 1blk) has now double-doubled in four straight weeks for Saint D. The 'Cuse were desperate for a win, while riding a 4-game losing streak. The Orange managed to pull off a 66-58 upset against UConn, and their vaunted 2-3 zone forced #7 Huskies to shoot 36.2% for the game.
But Wednesday's top scorer was Nosotros Creemos' Tony Mitchell (23pts, 7reb, 3blk, 2stl) in Alabama's 75-61 win over Mississippi State. Just two weeks removed from 11th place, Nosotros Creemos is making a strong push for the playoffs, and would help his chances greatly with a win over Neenan's Warriors this week.
Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
