Fantasy College Hoops: Recap - Week 5


Here are the storylines from Week 5:

Gordon Bombay (5-0) and Crimson & Bluebloods (5-0) both managed to avoid upsets in Week 5. Chalmers Chiefers (2-3) enjoyed the limelight of the Game of the Week, posting the league's top score with 169+ points. Terrence Jones (60.60) led the way, and his monster double-double was the highest scoring performance of the season. All four teams from Division: Outsourced are ranked in the top half of the league.

Free agency: There were five moves in free agency this week.
  1. Crimson & Bluebloods dropped D.J. Kennedy, G/F, St. John's and picked up Vincent Council, G, Providence
  2. Boilers dropped Erving Walker, G, Florida and picked up Trevor Mbakwe, F, Minnesota
  3. Boilers dropped Scott Martin, G, Notre Dame and picked up Diante Garrett, G, Iowa St
  4. Boilers dropped Joe Trapani, F, Boston College and picked up Reggie Johnson, C, Miami
  5. Jill Cousins dropped Mark Fox, HC, Georgia and picked up Jim Boeheim, HC, Syracuse
Injury/Roster Report: Duke's freshman point guard Kyrie Irving (toe) is out indefinitely which may keep him out for an extended period of time, perhaps the entire season.
