Branden Dawson (26pts, 9reb, 1ast, 1stl) helped Sparty punch their ticket to NYC for the Sweet 16. Dawson poured in a career-high 26 points, shooting 12-for-15 from the floor. Now, Andy & the Miracles is in great position heading into Sunday's games.
The Pink Jellybeans made the most of Saturday's games, and San Diego State marched on to the Sweet 16 as well. Led by senior guard
Xavier Thames (30pts, 1reb, 6ast, 1stl), who was responsible for nearly 50% of the Aztecs' scoring. After fighting past North Dakota State, they will face the winner of Arizona/Gonzaga.
