Overview

1st Annual Fantasy College Hoops League

Overview: A season-long, fast break of college hoops. Ten teams will compete over the course of the regular season with players from six BCS Conferences (ACC, Big XII, Big East, Big Ten, Pac 10, SEC). Each week, teams will compete head-to-head with a playoff bracket waiting at the end of Week 13.

Homepage: http://theaceofsports.blogspot.com. This website will serve as the league’s primary forum. All updates to scores, standings, roster submissions and all other pertinent information will be made publicly available.

Preseason Draft: Teams will select the number of players to field a team, along with backup (bench) players. Once a roster change is requested, it will go into effect the following week. Any changes to the roster must take place after the beginning of the season (see Roster Changes).

Roster Breakdown: (6) Starting players (any position/team); (1) Head coach; (3) Bench players

Setting Lineup: The “weeks” of the season begin on Mondays. Rosters must be submitted by Monday @ 5:00 pm. You must include the following information when setting your lineup: (1) Six starting players and game/date of choice; (2) Opponent’s coach and game/date of choice. Only one game will count per player per week.

Roster Changes: Any free agent changes to the roster, or trades between teams will be assessed a fee. All roster moves must be made electronically to timestamp all transactions.

Trade Deadline: No trades will be allowed after the league playoffs begin. All trades are subject to review, and all significant trades will be voted on by the entire league to ensure fairness.

Payout: The league champion will win 55% of the total pool, the runner-up will receive 25%, 3rd place wins 15%, and 5% for 4th place.

Playoffs: The postseason will take place during the last three weeks of the season. The playoff bracket will consist of the top six teams based on win/loss record and total points scored over the season. The top team in each division will receive a first round “bye”. The next four best teams will compete head-to-head to determine the “Final 4”. The most combined points scored over the course of the last two weeks will determine the winner.
