Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 16
Players from all four finalists were in action on Wednesday. Purdue's Robbie Hummel (29pts, 7reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl) appears to be peaking at just the right time. The fifth-year senior scored a season-high 29 points, behind a 10-for-18 shooting night and four 4-pointers.
And it's a little early for the white flag, but Nosotros Creemos got off to a horrendous start. Vanderbilt's Jeffery Taylor (4pts, 5reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl) went 1-for-8 from the field against South Carolina. West Virginia's Kevin Jones (15pts, 8reb, 1ast) wasn't bad by any stretch, as this was just his second week scoring less than 25 fantasy points.
Wednesday's high scorer belonged to The Phoggy Doggs, who are maintaining their early lead over the rest of the pack. Iowa State's Royce White (13pts, 10reb, 8ast, 1stl) flirted with a triple-double against Texas Tech. The only blemish in White's night was a 3-for-9 effort from the charity stripe, which has been his Achilles heel all season.
The Iron Men kept pace with Michigan State's Draymond Green (17pts, 5reb, 5ast, 1blk, 4stl) and recently-acquired Steven Pledger (17pts, 4reb, 2ast, 2blk) from Oklahoma.
Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
