Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 16
Super Tuesday featured four starters from The Phoggy Doggs. It looks like slow and steady could win the race this year, as each of them scored between 20 and 30 fantasy points. I'm sure Mississippi State had their home game against #1 Kentucky circled since the beginning of the season. Dee Bost (21pts, 2reb, 8ast, 4stl) and Arnett Moultrie (13pts, 11reb, 2ast, 2blk) helped the Bulldogs race out to a 41-28 halftime advantage, Kentucky's largest deficit of the season. But the top-ranked Wildcats stormed back in the second half, claiming their first lead at 63-62 with 4:11 remaining and never trailed again.
The other two members of The Phoggy Doggs weren't spectacular, but put up solid production. Virginia's Mike Scott (20pts, 9reb) fell just short of a double-double yet again. The fifth-year senior only has one double-double over the last nine weeks, but has still averaged over 27 fantasy points during that span. And Florida's Kenny Boynton (20pts, 2reb, 2ast, 1stl) buried a half-dozen 3-pointers against Auburn, leading the #11 Gators past Auburn 63-47.
Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
