Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 1

Only two players were in action Wednesday night, and both were featured in another Texas tuneup. The Longhorns (-20.5) overcame a sluggish start before pulling away from Louisiana Tech in the second half, coasting to an 89-58 win in Austin. Jordan Hamilton (19pts, 4reb, 2ast, 2stl) led the team in scoring once again, but shot a frigid 1-for-6 from beyond the arc. There's no question that Hamilton shows flashes of brilliance. But his questionable shot selection and lack of focus will offer plenty of 'teaching opportunities' (pictured above) for head coach Rick Barnes. If he can reel in the super soph, then Texas will be a dangerous team in the Big XII Conference. Until then, good luck with those Texas-sized headaches.
