Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 1

The Game of the Week got off to a quick start, with four players in action on Monday night. It was a coming out party for rookie owner Sutton & Sons Saloon and Pharmacy, who shot out of the gates early. Led by Pittsburgh's Brad Wanamaker (24pts, 3reb, 8ast, 1stl) and Texas' Gary Johnson (17pts, 10reb, 2ast, 1blk), who both won their opening games of the 2K Sports Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.



In the first official game of the college basketball season, Jamie Dixon and #4 Pittsburgh (-11) overcame Rhode Island's 14 three-pointers, to escape with a 83-75 victory. Ashton Gibbs (22pts, 4reb, 3ast, 1stl) buried two three-pointers of his own, while guiding the Panthers to their first win.
