Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 9
Another owner decided to officially change their team name. After 2½ seasons of use, the Chalmers Chiefers franchise will now go by Nosotros Creemos. Paying homage to former Royals manager Tony Peña appears to be a desperate move for a 2-6 squad. We'll see if Nosotros Creemos can rally the troops and make a push for a playoff spot in the coming weeks. Monday's games featured 9 players, but none from the Game of the Week. Nosotros Creemos didn't get much out of his Northwestern duo, as both John Shurna (11pts, 3reb, 3ast, 1stl) and Michael Thompson (12pts, 3reb, 4ast, 4stl) struggled mightily against Michigan State. Their biggest roadblock was The Iron Men's Draymond Green (15pts, 11reb, 4ast, 2blk, 1stl), as his double-double was Monday's top performance.
Kentucky's Terrence Jones (10pts, 8reb, 2ast, 1blk, 1stl), another one of Nosotros Creemos' heavy hitters, only managed to get six shots up against Pennsylvania. His freshman teammate, Brandon Knight (22pts, 2reb, 4ast, 1stl) played a near perfect game for Neenan's Warriors. He hit 8-of-12 shots and had the first turnover-free game of his career.
Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
