Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 9

The Game of the Week got started on Tuesday, as Providence proved to be an absolute pest against Pittsburgh. Vincent Council (13pts, 5reb, 10ast, 6stl) doled out 10 assists, but four personal fouls and five turnovers negated what could have been a monster performance. Maryland's Jordan Williams (12pts, 11reb, 3blk) has now double-doubled in seven of his eight starts this season for Gordon Bombay.

The Hammer is putting the screws to Nosotros Creemos right out of the gate. Led by Jared Sullinger (24pts, 12reb, 1ast, 2stl), the Buckeyes rallied past the Hawkeyes for a 73-68 win in Iowa City. Boilers knows the Big Ten better than anyone else. So it was a no-brainer that Indiana would have no answer for Trevor Mbakwe (11pts, 16reb, 1ast, 5blk), as he tied a career-high with 16 rebounds. The Hoosiers hung around until the very end, as Minnesota escaped with a 67-63 win.

But last night's high scorer was a familiar face from the Big XII, and Baylor's LaceDarius Dunn (43pts, 6reb, 3ast, 2stl) made an early case for Week 9's Player of the Week. Behind Dunn's career-high 43 points, including 10 3-pointers, The Iron Men have a more than comfortable lead against Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
