Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 9

There were no games scheduled for Friday, so Saturday featured some highly anticipated matchups. In the Game of the Week, Malcolm Delaney (13pts, 5reb, 3ast, 3stl) only managed to hit 3-of-10 shots, but went a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe. His fellow Hokie, and last week's Player of the Week, Jeff Allen (24pts, 11reb, 1blk, 1stl) has double-doubled in five of Virginia Tech's last six games. North Carolina State's Tracy Smith (23pts, 11reb, 1ast) got the start this week for Sutton & Sons, but his double-double might not be enough. Boilers looks primed for a victory, as long as his guards take care of business on Sunday.

Kris Joseph (15pts, 8reb, 1ast, 2stl) is now a fixture in the starting lineup for Crimson & Bluebloods. A dreadful 8-for-17 outing from the free throw line put a damper on an otherwise productive day. Although Texas suffered an overtime loss to Connecticut, Jordan Hamilton (20pts, 11reb, 3ast, 1blk, 2stl) was extremely active for the Longhorns. Georgia's Trey Thompkins (25pts, 7reb, 1ast, 2blk) is hitting his stride, scoring 20+ points in three of his last four games. On Saturday, he helped the Bulldogs knock off Kentucky 77-70, in what looked like 'Upset Saturday' around the country. Now, Crimson & Bluebloods will sit and wait to see if Gordon Bombay can perform a miracle Sunday comeback.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
