Here are the storylines from Week 8:
Division: Hitched! has gone a collective 8-0 over the past two weeks. Thanks to a great effort from Virginia Tech's Jeff Allen, Week 8's Player of the Week, Boilers (5-3) is gaining speed on the three division leaders in front of him. After not making the initial Power Rankings, there's no way Boilers will be left out in the cold when the second round is released sometime this week.

Free agency: The Hammer dropped Sam Muldrow, F, South Carolina and picked up Jordan Taylor, G, Wisconsin; The Hammer dropped Kim English, G, Missouri and picked up Durand Scott, G, Miami.

Injury/Roster Report: Texas Tech's John Roberson was suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules. The Hammer promptly dropped Roberson, as backcourt depth was his primary concern heading into next week.
