Fantasy College Hoops: Tuesday - Week 17
It's not like his production has dropped off recently, but Evan Turner (16pts, 12reb, 5ast, 1stl) posted his first double-double in five weeks for Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd last night. The Buckeyes also clinched the Big Ten title with a 73-57 win over Illinois. Turner buried both of his three-point attempts, matching his season-high [vs. Northwestern 1/19]. With only 12 starts this season, Turner still nearly led the league in total points. There's no question who the league's most valuable player is... but there's still a lot of work to do for Paul Rudd > Ashley Judd. Thanks to an unexpected double-double, Marquis Gilstrap (15pts, 13reb, 1ast, 1blk) gave Crimson & Bluebloods' scoring a much needed shot in the arm. The game went into overtime, with Missouri hitting an acrobatic game-winner that looked eerily similar to Tyus Edney's coast-to-coast from the '95 NCAA Tournament. Unfortunately for Cyclone nation, this will be Gilstrap's one and only season in Ames. But since being acquired via free agency in Week 11, he's helped the defending league champion scratch and claw their way to a valiant effort at a repeat.
Here's a look at Week 17's current scoreboard and playoff bracket.
