Fantasy March Madness: Saturday - Round 2

The headline of the tournament so far was #9 Northern Iowa shocking Cole Aldrich (13pts, 10reb, 1ast, 2blk, 1stl) and #1 Kansas, the tournament's top overall seed. The champion from the Missouri Valley conference was never intimidated and played with a chip on their shoulder. The Panthers controlled the tempo for the majority of the game and only trailed 2-0 in the opening minute of the game, before delivering the dagger with :35 left.

The Pink Jellybeans have to be relieved that Kansas State is on their way to their first regional appearance since '88. On the very same court where David slew Goliath, #2 Kansas State pulled away from #7 Brigham Young in the second half. Jacob Pullen (34pts, 1reb, 2ast, 4stl) poured in a career-high 34 points, draining 7 three-pointers and connecting on all 11 of his free throw attempts.

One of the biggest surprises of the tournament has to be Sweet 16-bound St. Mary's and Omar Samhan (32pts, 7reb, 2blk), who was Saturday's top scorer. The #10 Gaels upset of #2 Villanova validates the potential risk of drafting Samhan, who now leads the league in overall scoring thus far.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard through Saturday's games.
