Fantasy March Madness: Sunday - Round 2

After catching some flak for taking the Corsicana Kid #1 overall, Syracuse's Wesley Johnson (31pts, 14reb, 1blk) has lived up to the hype through the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament. The #1 Orange were hitting on all cylinders in their utter domination of #9 Gonzaga. There's no denying that the 'Cuse have the look of a national title contender.

Sunday was a mixed bag for The Pink Jellybeans. The good news? Two of the top three of today's scorers, headlined by a clutch performance from Da'Sean Butler (28pts, 8reb, 2ast, 2blk, 1stl), as #2 West Virginia eventually got by #10 Missouri's "fastest 40 minutes".

The bad news? Bryan Davis (17pts, 15reb, 3ast, 2blk, 3stl) and #5 Texas A&M suffered a heartbreaking overtime defeat at the hands of #4 Purdue. But the worst news came from #5 Michigan State's buzzer-beating win over #4 Maryland. The early injury report for Spartan floor general Kalin Lucas (4pts, 6ast, 1stl) is a torn Achilles tendon, likely ending his NCAA tournament.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard heading into the Sweet 16.

I know, I've been slacking... Went on a road trip over the weekend, so I'm way behind. Should get caught up through last round during lunch today though.
