Fantasy College Hoops: Monday - Week 2

The natural rivalry between The Hammer and Boiler up, hammer down was the obvious choice for Game of the Week. But after Monday's games, this marquee matchup is just about over before it ever began. All four of The Hammer's players in action failed to break 20 fantasy points. Marcus Denmon (12pts, 5reb, 3ast, 2stl), Andre Drummond (8pts, 5reb, 3blk), Tim Hardaway (15pts, 1reb, 2ast) and newly acquired Eric Atkins (13pts, 2reb, 4ast) combined for just 50 points. Boiler up, hammer down nearly matched that total with half the players. Robbie Hummel (18pts, 5reb, 4ast, 1blk) and Terrence Ross (24pts, 3reb, 1stl) combined to shoot 16-for-28, including nine 3-pointers. Word around the campfire is that The Hammer is worried about his team's abililty thus far, as he made a pair of free agent pickups in the middle of the night rather than sleep on it. With only a few players left, we'll see if The Hammer can pound out a comeback. Otherwise, Boiler Up, Hammer Down will have won consecutive Game of the Week matchups.

Notable performers included Marquette's Darius Johnson-Odom (24pts, 2reb, 6ast, 2stl) of Neenan's Warriors and Minnesota's Trevor Mbakwe (17pts, 10reb, 1ast, 4blk, 2stl) of Nosotros Creemos, Monday's high-scorer.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
