Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 2

The Game of the Week matchup has been like a week-long train wreck, and I just can't look away. Despite an already commanding lead, Alabama's Tony Mitchell (17pts, 11reb, 2ast, 2blk) and Seton Hall's Herb Pope (20pts, 13reb, 1ast) both double-doubled for Boiler Up, Hammer Down. Unfortunately, he won't be able to carry over any of these points into Week 3. But I think he'll gladly settle for an absolute massacre of a win at The Hammer's expense.

Florida's Kenny Boynton (20pts, 4reb, 5ast, 2stl) continued to help build The Phoggy Doggs early lead. And to say this weekend is critical to The Iron Men would be an understatement. Essentially his entire starting lineup will play on either Saturday or Sunday.

Thursday's high score belonged to McDonnell's All-American John Shurna (37pts, 7reb, 4ast, 1blk, 1stl), after dropping a career-high 37 points against LSU at the Charleston Classic. Shurna's banner day helped McDonnell's All-Americans retake the lead over his bitter rival, Tom Selleck's doppelgänger. We'll have to wait until Saturday to see who emerges victorious in this back-and-forth battle.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
