Fantasy College Hoops: League Memo
As league commissioner, I need to address the recent Chocolate Thunder incident that occurred last week. To my understanding he was a rookie owner who had openly admitted having little to no time to dedicate to this league. So after multiple late and/or missing lineup submissions over the past few weeks, I felt something needed to be done to the Chocolate Thunder franchise. When last week began, I was prepared to act as the team's de facto owner moving forward for the rest of the season.
I spent the previous week running the idea by the other owners in the league to see what they thought and if they had any objections. After receiving zero pushback, I assumed the responsibility of managing Chocolate Thunder's roster from that point onward. As commissioner, I did this to enhance the level of competition throughout the league. And this was not the first time I had helped owners this season. Whether it was forgiving late lineup submissions, helping other owners with decisions in free agency, giving unbiased advice on player personnel or setting/correcting lineups if an owner forgot, did not have time, made honest mistakes, etc.
I felt I did what was best for the league as a whole. Therefore, I am not changing any rules or enforcing stricter penalties. I simply want to make the entire league aware of what I have done from the beginning of the season. But I would like to reiterate my expectations for everyone so we are on the same page:
I wish you all the best of luck to your players and teams for the rest of the season.
Thanks,
Ace

- All owners should strive to submit their lineups by 5:00pm on Mondays. This ensures that lineups are received before the first games are played for that week. Also, that should give me enough time to get the lineups posted in a timely fashion.
- If your lineup is late, it will still be accepted throughout the week. However, you will not be allowed to use any games that have already happened. Even if it is the only game for your best player. You will not be allowed to choose it.
- After Friday, you forfeit your right to set your own lineup. However, I will at least submit one for you, with available weekend games. No changes will be allowed (barring an unforseen injury, suspension, etc.) past that point.
I wish you all the best of luck to your players and teams for the rest of the season.
Thanks,
Ace
