Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 5
After a sluggish start to the season, Wisconsin's Jordan Taylor (15pts, 4reb, 10ast, 1stl) showed why he was deserving of the #2 overall pick. Taylor posted his first double-double of the season, and did not commit a turnover or personal foul while logging a team-high 34 minutes against Wisconsin-Green Bay. At this pace, Neenan's Warriors (0-4) could finally get off the schneid this week.
Wednesday's games were critical to the Game of the Week. A trio for the Iron Men all took care of business against cupcakes. Michigan State's Draymond Green (14pts, 9reb, 4ast, 3blk), Wake Forest's C.J. Harris (20pts, 4reb, 3ast, 2stl) and Duke's Mason Plumlee (14pts, 10reb, 2ast, 5blk, 4stl) collectively put up over 95 fantasy points.
Tom Selleck's doppelgänger has a lot of work to do, after a mediocre game from California's Jorge Gutierrez (14pts, 2reb, 4ast, 1stl) in their 81-36 shellacking of San Jose St. Kevin Stallings and Vanderbilt (-1.5) held on for a 87-83 road victory against Davidson. Speaking of Vanderbilt...
The most impressive squad from Wednesday's games had to be Nosotros Creemos. Vanderbilt's Jeffery Taylor (30pts, 4reb, 2blk, 1stl) torched the nets for a career-high 30 points. While Colorado's Andre Roberson (21pts, 10reb, 1ast, 1blk) also posted career-high 21 points, with a double-double against Fresno State as well.
Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
