After last week's
Player of the Week performance, Alabama's
JaMychal Green (13pts, 4reb, 1ast, 1stl) followed it up with a head-scratcher against Georgetown on Thursday night. He picked up three fouls in a four minute span in the second half, and the Hoya's smothering defense held Green to just seven shot attempts all game. Georgetown pulled the 57-55 upset on #12 Alabama after a
late 3-pointer with 1.8 seconds left in the game. McDonnell's All-Americans now has one foot in the grave in their
Game of the Week matchup against The Hammer. After a fast 2-1 start, perhaps the rookie owner just wasn't ready for the bright lights just yet.
Thursday's top scorer was freshman sensation
Anthony Davis (15pts, 15reb, 8blk, 2stl) in #1 Kentucky's 81-59 crushing of St. John's. Davis nearly triple-doubled for Tom Selleck's doppelgänger, with eight of Kentucky's school-record 18 blocks.
Here's a look at the current
scoreboard.
