Fantasy College Hoops: Wednesday - Week 8

The lone player in the Game of the Week from Wednesday's games was Connecticut's Shabazz Napier (4pts, 5reb, 3ast, 2stl) of The Phoggy Doggs. Despite a frigid 1-for-9 shooting night from their point guard, the #9 Huskies escaped with a 60-57 win over South Florida.

Tom Selleck's doppelgänger showed no signs of slowing down on Wednesday night. Kentucky's Anthony Davis (10pts, 13reb, 2ast, 6blk) became his third straight player to double-double so far. At this pace, Week 8 could be a record-setting week for the rookie owner.

Nosotros Creemos needed someone to step up after West Virginia's Kevin Jones (13pts, 7reb, 1blk) and Villanova's Mouphtaou Yarou (13pts, 8reb, 1blk) both failed to score 20 fantasy points. Luckily, Colorado's Andre Roberson (12pts, 12reb, 2blk) responded with a double-double in Colorado's 92-34 rout of New Orleans. The Buffaloes scored more points in the game's first 15 minutes (35) than the Privateers did the entire game (34).

It was a similar storyline for Nosotros Creemos' younger brother. After Syracuse's Kris Joseph (1reb, 4ast, 1blk, 4stl) was held scoreless, Gordon Bombay was desperate for some scoring output. Well I'd say Ohio State's William Buford (28pts, 9reb, 4ast, 1blk) got the message. The senior guard poured in career-highs of 28 points and five 3-pointers against Northwestern.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
