Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 7

The Hammer took control of the Game of the Week on Thursday, as a pair of Huskies went head-to-head in Connecticut's 79-71 win over Fairfield. Gordon Bombay's Ryan Boatright (10pts, 7reb, 5ast, 1stl) delivered a dagger from behind the arc in the final minute. But The Hammer's Andre Drummond (16pts, 9reb, 2blk, 4stl) has strung together solid back-to-back games... scoring a total of 30 points, while grabbing 17 rebounds and blocking seven shots, against just one personal foul.

Winless Chocolate Thunder is primed for a monumental upset over undefeated Boiler Up, Hammer Down. North Carolina State's C.J. Leslie (16pts, 8reb, 1ast, 4blk) broke out of a mini-slump with 16 points and 8 rebounds, which were both highs for Leslie in the month of December. There's still a lot of action left, but Chocolate Thunder can almost taste sweet victory.

Northwestern's John Shurna (18pts, 9reb, 6ast, 1blk, 3stl) fell one rebound short of a double-double. But McDonnell's All-Americans now has a chance against Ad astra per aspera heading into the Friday's games.

Fellow Northwestern Wildcat Drew Crawford (34pts, 1reb, 1stl) buried 13 of his 17 shots before fouling out against #22 Creighton. And Tom Selleck's doppelgänger had to love the scoring output this week.

But if you want to be the best, you have to beat the best. And The Phoggy Doggs aren't just going to roll over and play dead. Mississippi State's Arnett Moultrie (24pts, 14reb, 4ast, 1blk) notched his seventh double-double of the season as the #17 Bulldogs cruised past Northwestern State 82-67. Moultrie became the second player to post 50+ points, helping The Phoggy Doggs break the 200-point barrier in Week 7.

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
