Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 4

Facing an overwhelming deficit, McDonnell's All-Americans needed a superhuman effort from Connecticut's Jeremy Lamb (14pts, 6reb, 2ast, 2blk, 1stl), their last remaining player for Week 4. But the super sophomore was held to a season-low 14 points against Arkansas, while committing four turnovers and personal fouls. That capped a disappointing debut for McDonnell's All-Americans' in the Game of the Week, as they now drop to 2-2 on the season.

Losing Trevor Mbakwe for the season is heartbreaking. But don't expect Nosotros Creemos to sit there and feel sorry for himself. He'll never give up on these kids!
In the post-Mbakwe era, Nosotros Creemos knows he might need to win ugly from time-to-time. Case in point, Miami's Durand Scott (16pts, 6reb, 6ast, 1stl) overcame a horrid 0-for-6 shooting night against Massachusetts to score a respectable 24+ fantasy points. How? An eye-popping 16-for-18 scoring barrage from the charity stripe. That's Exhibit A on how to manufacture production when your shots aren't falling. Saturday's top scorer, newly acquired Mouphtaou Yarou (21pts, 11reb, 1ast, 1blk) of Villanova, appears to be the favorite to replace Mbakwe's spot in Nosotros Creemos' starting lineup. Granted, I don't think we'll be saying "Mbakwe, who?" at the end of the year. But if this team continues to take on the personality of their owner, then I like their chances to contend for a playoff spot. But more on that later...

Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
