Iowa State's Royce White needs to recharge his batteries and get back to 100%

After logging just three minutes against Mississippi Valley State before leaving with flu-like symptoms, the immediate availability of Iowa State's Royce White is still in question. Couple that with an overall less than impressive showing last week, and The Phoggy Doggs are hopeful some fresh faces step up in Week 9.

With teammate C.J. Harris sidelined with a strained groin, Travis McKie (25pts, 6reb, 1ast, 1blk, 2stl) was the focal point of the Demon Deacon offense. Albeit in a losing effort to Wofford, McKie matched his season-high in scoring with 25 points, behind an 11-for-12 effort from the charity stripe.
