After the pathetic overall display by The Phoggy Doggs, I had all but given up on a Game of the Week victory. So with one player remaining and a 15-point deficit, Boiler Up, Hammer Down appeared ready to knock The Phoggy Doggs from the ranks of the unbeaten. But Marquette's Jae Crowder (9pts, 5reb, 2ast, 3blk, 1stl) failed to get the job done against Villanova. After beginning the season with six consecutive victories, Boiler Up, Hammer Down has now lost his last two matchups by a combined 2.35 fantasy points.


A pair former Player of the Week recipients, North Carolina's Tyler Zeller (8pts, 11reb, 3ast, 1blk, 1stl) and Duke's Mason Plumlee (10pts, 14reb, 2ast, 1blk) helped The Iron Men finish Week 8 on a high note.
