Fantasy College Hoops: Thursday - Week 9
A pair of swing guards went head-to-head in the Game of the Week on Thursday. Colorado's Andre Roberson (8pts, 12reb, 2blk, 1stl) fell one bucket short of a double-double for Nostros Creemos. As for Boiler Up, Hammer Down, a 6-for-15 shooting night and four personal fouls derailed a double-double from Terrence Ross (13pts, 10reb, 1ast, 1blk), as Washington got stampeded in Boulder. Separated by less than one point, the Game of the Week couldn't get much closer heading into the weekend.
The league's only winless team, Sutton & Sons Saloon and Pharmacy, is pursuing that elusive first victory of the season heading into the game-filled weekend. Although Indiana's Christian Watford (25pts, 7reb, 4ast) fell one point shy of his season-high in scoring, he matched his career-high by dishing out four assists. The upstart #12 Hoosiers held off #13 Michigan 73-71 in front of 16K+ inside Assembly Hall.
After scoring just 36 fantasy points over the last three weeks, Washington State's Brock Motum (27pts, 8reb, 3ast) matched that total on Thursday night against Utah. The Hammer successfully weathered the scoring storm known as Tom Selleck's doppelgänger, and is on pace for a season-high in scoring in Week 9.
Here's a look at the current scoreboard.
