Fantasy College Hoops: Saturday - Week 8

Well the Game of the Week took an interesting turn on Saturday. The Phoggy Doggs' Kenny Boynton (26pts, 2reb, 3ast) buried five 3-pointers in #10 Florida's 90-70 win over Yale. But then all hell broke loose. Mississippi State's Dee Bost (5pts, 2reb, 4ast, 1stl) finished a dreadful 1-for-10 from the floor against Utah State. And Iowa State's Royce White (1reb) only logged 3 minutes before leaving the game with flu-like symptoms.

With essentially a one-man advantage, Boiler Up, Hammer Down has a golden opportunity to hand The Phoggy Doggs their first loss. Although Purdue's Robbie Hummel (5pts, 5reb, 3ast) and Oregon State's Jared Cunningham (21pts, 4ast, 4stl) couldn't seal the deal on Saturday, a Week 8 win looks imminent.

#3 Kentucky's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (24pts, 19reb, 1ast) of Neenan's Warriors was Saturday's top scorer. The freshman erupted for 45+ in their annual Bluegrass Battle against #4 Louisville. To call this a physical game would be an understatement, as the two combined for 52 personal fouls. Nevertheless, Neenan's Warriors is ready to end their two-game losing streak with an upcoming victory against Ad astra per aspera.
